note that if you buy the Rainbowimaging LCMX1B Self-Retaining Auto Open/close lens case, the leather camera case will not fit.by the time we tried it and wanted to return it.... it was too late to return.

It took about 7 to 10 days to arrived .The case fits my MX-1 well all around , it has 2 parts , the vest body wrap and the lens cover . If you are in the action , you might want to leave the lens cover off the camera because it might be in the way when viewing the screen .The vest wrap around my camera tightly and securely ; I have a big hand so it kinda gives me a better grasp when holding the camera .Thing is , you will have to unscrew and take the vest off to open the battery and memory card chamber .The strap is long enough for carry the camera across the body .I would gave it a five (5) stars has the color of the case is as same as the advertised pictures . Instead of the beautiful reddish brown , I got a light dirt brown case .Over all , it a good value for the money .

Closing the case over the camera is a bit tight. Otherwise just what I wanted.

I wanted a case for my MX-1 for traveling, to protect the camera but still have it ready for easier access. I have a small camera bag for normal use, but it's not always convenient to pull the camera out of the bag, snap pics and return to the bag for spur-of-the-moment pictures. This case is an excellent traveling companion. The body vest fits snugly and securely and secures to the camera through the tripod mounting screw. The cover hinges on snaps and fits the lens and camera well, with just enough room to swing open easily when needed. The case protects the camera well, with some light padding inside. All snaps and mounting hardware are made of brass. The leather quality seems very nice and the construction appears to be durable and high-quality.If there is any downside, it would be the included shoulder strap. While it matches the finish of the case, looks nice and is long enough to fit well across the body (for shorter- to average-height folks anyway), it could use a little more 'grip' for one-shoulder carrying. I found it slipping off my shoulder and felt safer with it across the body or around my neck. But, since you can attach your own camera strap to the brass mounts, I'm not detracting from the score for the case itself.Overall, I'm very happy with the case. It won't replace a full camera bag with room for other gear, but fit the bill perfectly for easy access and convenience.

Although I thought I'd taken a risk ordering this camera case (having stumbled upon a few negative reviews on other sellers' similar looking items due to bad fit, cheap materials or misrepresented color) I was very positively surprised with this one. The case has a high quality feel to it, the fit is excellent, brass hardware is solid, and the leather is supple (genuine or not, I don't care - it sure looks it), featuring an antique deep-brown hue exactly (matching the pictures) and a very natural looking texture, with edges looking slightly worn. This adds to the luxurious retro appearance of the MX-1, making it look twice as expensive. Highly recommended seller and product!

This item looks like it should cost way more than it did. Fits the camera perfectly. Real brass fittings. Inner soft liner and outer leather appear well stitched together. Strap ends are nylon, which I expect will provide added durability and security over an all leather strap.Very nice product.

Fits my camera nicely. I currently use the strap on my camera as the shoulder strap. Great for traveling. Arrived pretty timely.
