Great for snacks to go. Sturdy. Love they are compostable.

These are “commercially compostable” not naturally compostable at home. They are of good quality, just like other plant based brands I have purchased before. But because I can’t put vegetable scraps in it to throw in my compost, I will continue to search.

No leaks so far. Don’t know how long until it starts to break down or under what conditions.

I love these bags!!!! They keep food fresh longer than plastic zip bags (the shredded lettuce on a sandwich will last 4-5 days), easy to write on, and, obviously, better for the Earth because they are compostable. Aside from those reasons, there is one more which makes me incredibly happy...cats have absolutely no interest in eating them!!! If your cats like to eat plastic bags (which are often made with tallow as an ingredient, which is what attracts animals to eat it), ditch the plastic and get these!

They do not advertise this, buutttt it’s “commercially compostable only. Facilities may not exist in you area.”

Just like plastic but better for the environment

I bought these to use as freezer bags for a specific purpose. I've been reusing regular freezer sandwich-size bags for a few years for dog food patties. These bags were advertised as freezer safe, and while they may be safe for some things, I can report the following:Patties in regular now-old freezer sandwich bags: no frost developed on productPatties in these bags: full frost formation after two daysI had to transfer them back to the regular freezer-safe food storage bags.The only thing I can think of as a possible explanation is that these are permeable in some way. The texture and quality are really good, and I'm using them in the fridge and for dry goods, but will not be using them for protecting food in the freezer.Not being able to use these in the freezer as advertised will not prevent me from ordering them again for other uses; I'll just keep hunting for sustainable freezer bags until I find one that's effective for that purpose.Otherwise, excellent product.

And I love the compostable concept.
