Stainless Steel Buckets for Pets, Cleaning, Food Prep

This appears to be a well made stainless steel bucket. I bought it for watering my dog. Looking at the bottom of it there is a label that says "WARNING: lead-cancer-".I will be sending it back.

Thank you to the amazon customer who alerted us to the lead warning on the bottom of this bucket. I wonder if I received the bucket she, and who knows how many others, may have sent back because the label on mine is badly worn and the bucket bottom itself is scratched. I'll not be using this for my intended purpose of carrying my Berkey system purified drinking water around! I'll now be looking for a bucket made of either 316 or 430 food-safe stainless steel.My other complaint about this otherwise excellent bucket is that the bottom rim so so rounded, it's impossible to grip it when tipping the bucket up to pour out its contents. I need a lip or an indentation or a 90 degree angle or SOMETHING. So, with both issues in mind, my search for the perfect, food safe, easy to pour kitchen bucket continues!

This pail is beautiful to look at. BUT ON THE BOTTOM THERE IS A WARNING THAT IT COULD CAUSE CANCER.This was to be the main water bucket for my two big dogs. Sadly after seeing the warning I returned it.Not food & water for drinking safe.

Supposed to be a “good grade” stainless steel bucket.... but it has a lead warning. How in the WORLD does that make it food safe at all. Completely unsafe!

Bought this for holding my dogs' water. It is much sturdier than the one I bought a while back which had a rolled edge at the top that began to crack at points perpendicular to the line of the handles. My guess is the weight of the water pulled the handles together putting stress on those points. This bucket has a lip which I think will help prevent the same thing from happening. The metal seems like a heavier gauge too.

We use this for a water bowl for our English Mastiff. The higher sides help keep the slobber in the bucket, instead of on my floor and walls. Haha. Big dog problems!!! We rinse it clean at least once a day and so far, it does not seem to hold build-up at all. The handle makes it easy to carry!

I have used this as the frame for my propane forge for about a year. This shows no sign of wear from it's use. Thine enough to easily work with and cut but thick enough so that it can easily hold anything inside without warping, bending, etc.

Using this as an ash bucket on a covered deck. But it still gets a little rain on it.Not exactly what I was hoping for. Need to find an aluminum bucket, I reckon.Got this back in January.
