Q: Why isn't magnesium included in the supplement?

Magnesium is not included in the MegaFood, Multi for Men 40+ as the mineral is very large and will often compete for absorption of the smaller vitamins/minerals found in a multi.

Q: Anyone ever try the "men over 40 one daily" by megafood? it's a single larger tablet with some differences. wondered which is better?

This multi for men 40+ uses active forms of some of the B Vitamins and Folate so this one would be preferred to try first imo (even taking one per day or 1/2 of 1 twice a day rather than 2 gives a good daily dose considering you also eat) as well as has some Vitamin K2 and other benefits, but some people cannot tolerate the active forms due to their genetics since it can make pathways that genetically may be tuned down genetically for a reason fully active and so might need to experiment. The men over 40 one daily uses non active forms of 3mg B6 and a higher 400 Folic Acid for example, and while most do fine with that, the pyridoxine B6 form competitively inhibits the active B6 P5P form in higher doses leading to lower B6 function according to recent research and folic acid may not be able to be metabolized well by some peoples genetics and blood levels increase so it might possibly cause issues to a portion of people who take it daily. Everyone is unique...just like everyone else ;)
