I was worried this would stink of chemicals as per some reviews here but it was fine. Yes it did smell but I used it the same night it arrived and didn't notice any smell within an hour or two. So I also didn't wait days for it to fully decompress - I have neither the time nor the space for that. Within a few hours the creases (from being folded for delivery) were gone.The foam comes in a zip-up cover; I suspect some mm of the 5cm quoted thickness is for this cover. Regardless, it has made my bed SO much nicer despite there being a crap mattress underneath with springs so painful you think you're laying on car keys even when on top of the duvet.I am now looking to get their memory foam pillows but they are out of stock!One reason I chose this product is that this company is a Certified B Corp. If you're not sure what that is, look it up. But it basically gives you reason to trust they are not out to screw you over, or the environment, their workers or their supply chain. So I'm always happy to support such a company.Recommended.

Brilliant mattress but it’s not for me personally

Used on a sofa bed and in a campervan to iron out the bumps - very comfortable . Not quite the 5cms and didn't have a time dryer but pleased overall.

So I bought 10cm thickness, and it was very cozy mattress.But it was way to soft for me, wasn't able to sleep, nearly couldn't get out of bed.I guess for someone else it would be perfect.Perhaps I should have bought 5-7.5 cmOnly Con : Oh my! it smell so much and I had to try sleep on it before time runs out to return it, my asthma went bad it was terrible. I could only sleep 4 nights on it because of the smell. Still 2 weeks after we return the mattress out bed mattress smells of it.Was easy to return and got it refounded quick

I don’t usually write reviews but i was so pleased with the mattress topper I just had to! Excellent value for money! I have bought one previously from a high street store (for double the price) and this is just as good, if not a little thicker! Fantastic value for money. Yes there may be more luxurious ones on the market, like with most things, but if you’re after something affordable that actually works, this is the one! When you first unpackage, it has a strong ‘new’ plastic smell, this soon goes. Also has creases from where it has been tightly rolled up in packaging, don’t worry these settle and the foam reshapes after a few hours!
