I had been using the standard head gear, it never stayed on my head. I even switched to the over the nose style but the plastic irrated my face. I saw these being used on a TV show and I thought I would give them a try even though not covered by my insurance. I loved them immediately but after a few nights they started bothering my ears, they stayed on all night, no slipping on my hair like the other but they just irritated my ears. I had a friend make covers for them, the complete strap so the plastic does not touch my face or ears. That worked! I only wish the company that makes/provides this product would make the covers for the entire piece, they would fit the ear pieces better than the homemade covers. I will continue to use this new strap, it's the best by far of any I have tried.

I love that my hair isn't tangled up or pulled any more. Just be careful not to pull the straps too tight or the backs of your ears will be sore. I use a hose hanger to keep the weight of the hose from pulling on the nasal pillow and it works great.

Item was replacement for cpap. Brand new in packaging and exactly as ordered.

Though it took some time to adjust to having these around my ears initially, I have been using this style of mask for more than 7 years now. I love that I can buy replacement loops instead of having to pay for an entire new mask. I have noted that the price of the loops has increased significantly over the last few years. They were less than $20 two years ago and now are almost $30. That is pretty significant in my opinion and I am not sure it is justified.
