I was able to do the same wiring from my existing detector and it worked first time. Very sensitive.More sensitive than the one it replaced. Excellent product.

We bought these to replace two older, failing sensors. They installed easily and work perfectly.

Replaced two 20-year old Radio Shack units with these. Installation was straight forward. Can be corner or wall mounted. Legible and easy-to-follow install instructions. No malfunctions/false alarms to date and would recommend these. Appreciated the "look-down" feature, which is switchable, and the ability to accommodate pets. Normally open or closed circuitry is possible, depending on your control panel requirements.

I was very disappointed when I found out it was for indoor use only. I am trying to find a sensor for outdoor use.
