You get exactly what you expect and a good product too

I bought one just over a year ago. It held up perfectly well. I kept it in a backpack with other items and carried around every workday. Unfortunately, I just washed it in the clothes washer. The journal itself is perfectly fine and the pages are intact. However, I used a fountain pen to write in it and the water dissolved the ink. I did use a ballpoint pen for just a few pages and that writing stayed intact. Had I used a ballpoint pen for all my writing, then all it would need to do is dry out. I just bought another one :)

It's a beautiful book. I'm not sure it was a good idea to get a soft leather binding, but for the most part, I am enjoying using it as a journal.

I first purchased one leather bound journal with unlined paper to give as a gift for Christmas. I wanted to donate to the local police department that was collecting toys for parents who were on hard times to give a gift on Christmas morning to their children. All the police departments collected and there was a challenge of which department collected the most. I don’t know who “won” but it was a joyful time for all involved. :)I wanted a gift for an older child/teen as I heard those gifts aren’t donated as much. (Most people tend to think of babies, toddlers or a slightly older child).I was very pleased with the quality of the leather journal. It made me think of a journal that Indiana Jones would carry through his life to record his thoughts, sketches and adventures. It is quality paper in a supple leather binder bound with leather straps.I liked it so much I ordered 2 more. I wanted to gift 2 children on Christmas morn with this journal in hopes it would maybe help them with a personal feel of it being their own. A personal and private place to go and express themselves.And I gifted 1 of the 3 I bought to my husbands niece who has anger issues with the hope this can be an outlet to her that does not involve the internet.
