We purchased another version for our first and now got this one for our second baby because we liked it so much! Cute formatting and simple to fill-in.

Just purchased this for our third child and hope it’ll still be available when or if we have a fourth! It’s laid out in such an easy to fill in way and looks beautiful on a shelf.

I immediately loved the way this book was formatted and designed. It wasn't at all over the top using the same out dated color distinctions to designate blue to represent the boy gender and pink representing the girl gender. Instead the neutral color tones to adhere to neither of the two colors appealed to me the most. I also know there are moms who prefer a baby book to carry on past their infant's first year. However, I wanted a baby book for my daughter to focus specifically on the first year of her life. After much searching I finally found the perfect book! The format is simple and elegantly illustrated without any over the top questionnaires I find redundant. Instead I prefer a minimalist approach to these types of books where the questions are enough to provide meaningful content and memories for your baby to look back on as they grow up.

We love these books for our little ones! Had a similar version with our oldest and was so excited to have a similar but different option for our youngest baby. There are so many sweet prompts to help you capture memories about your baby's first year.The first portion of the book is dedicated to questions about how you picked baby's name, your birth experience, and your baby's first days/weeks. The second portion of the book has a two page spread for months 1-2, months 3-4, etc. I love this because it's enough space to capture memories without feeling like a ton of pressure (because who really has time to journal every week with a newborn!?). There is a spread for handprints and footprints, so make sure to bring the book to your birth and get those itty, bitty feet and hands documented!I will say some of the prompts are geared toward a hospital birth, so if you give birth somewhere else you may have to finesse your answers to those questions a bit (ex: there's a question about first day home that is redundant with questions about first day of life if you bring baby home from birth center on their first day of life or give birth at home). Also I would have loved a pocket in the back of this book to tuck away things like the measuring tape they used to measure baby and hospital wristbands, etc. The original book we got for our oldest had something like that and we loved it. It's definitely tailored to biological children, so if you are adopting a child this may not work as well.All-in-all I have really enjoyed these books and will get another the next time we're expecting! Highly recommend!

Beautiful book, I love it. Only issue is that month overview pages go by twos instead of giving each one their own page. Other than that, great purchase.

I used this same brand in a different version (dark grey) for my first and was so pleased there was a same/different one. This one has more animals. Otherwise the layouts are the same. It is simple and easy to use. They don’t provide tons of places for photos but I found that the simple layouts allow you to be creative and add as you like. I like that you update every two months- at first constant updates and changes come easy to write about but as they grow you come to appreciate the simplicity of this book. I hope my boys will appreciate the effort I have put into this. I do wish there was a place for 2nd birthday etc but I can always add those photos in the back of the book. Room for creativity.

This is my favorite baby book and I have one for each of our kids. It has the perfect amount of space to write and includes cute sayings throughout. Has nice pocket included for baby's first haircut and a place to put hand and foot prints. A little pricey but overall, highly recommend.

if you are looking for a great baby shower gift I would highly suggest this book... it is absolutely adorable and thoughtful with its layout... I love that it helps you create a full story of how your babe came to be and includes fun details like.. how much was a movie ticket, gas and bread on the day your babe was born.. it also has room for a visitor signature page, footprints, babies first hair cut, family tree, and so much more. The colors are calm and cool with great graphic prints perfect for either a boy or girl! Can't say enough great things about it!!
