Just what I was looking for

I was facing the same dilemma many DIYers find, the gutter industry is mostly on a 5 or 6 inch gutter width standard but my local box store carries 4 inch gutter products. You can use spike and ferule but I wanted a hidden fastener. Sure, the box store will sell you a hidden hanger for about $3 apiece, but I needed about 60 and that would be close to the cost of all the rest of the materials I used. These hangers are a great option. I bought this product and a box of 1 1/2 inch galvanised self tapping screws to mount the gutter. The bracket has a slot in the mounting end for adjustability I guess. The only minor problem I ran into was when I positioned the gutter where I wanted it the bracket would sometimes rise up off of the back of the gutter. Then I had to hold up on the gutter with one hand, hold down on the bracket with my other hand and then drive the screw with my third hand.....

Lightweight. Hard to place screws. Not for any gutters made with heavier materials.

Delivered on time and works as expected.

Thankfully SOMEBODY, SOMEWHERE still makes 4 inch hangers. Geez, it's been like trying to find the holy grail. I'll see how these work out and update but I give them 5 stars for just making and/or distributing these and doubt I will re-rate it any less.
