Aouber Electronic Insect Zapper (Orange)

Does take care of small fruit flies well. Hooked for three days and we notice a difference. I checked and one had 6, the second had 1.Have not caught any skeeters as yet, but does well for fruit flies. We have the grey tennis racquet for skeeters as they are a bit aggressive n hungry after the hurricane, kinda like the birds movie right now, skeeter wise. Maybe these traps will get less aggressive skeeters, dunno. The instructions are disturbing and funny, but realize someone is using a thesaurus or Chinese to English as is obviously non understanding of English, the direction writer is. I will clean soon, and after removing once, will leave in place to clean as they do feel a little chincy like they would break easy, especially in newer outlets that are tight. Worth the purchase for fruit fly removal for us. We leave ours on, will shut off after frost, back on upon fly return.UPDATEMake sure to decipher breed type and source of fruit flies or drain flies or the like. Then, take care of breeding ground. In our case I believe they are drain flies. We put in a septic bacteria but only in one toilet. We will now do both toilets with what we use green pig and see if that stops breeding cycles.So trap is useful but ideally breeding ground will be needed to be handled. This has not killed one skeeter but lots of nuisance flies. For skeeter problem we use bits and dunks combined with cold weather and animal control spraying has helped.Good luck.

New, but already has helped at the worktable in the garage (when the door is closed). Plan on using in our camper where bugs have been an issue indoors. Have a spare for those times pesky things do get in the house. A bright light. I think maybe too bright for a night lite for our usage, but some application would be perfect. We have a patio enclosed on 3 sides with lot of plants. Most like I will try it there as I am a bug attractant.

Bathroom pipes in my mother's bathroom are not in the best shape and she's was getting these little fly's. At 1st i did not think it was working but after a move to a different place in the bathroom this one was full of dead fly's. Sadly i could not find the same model and the other one was not as good i found. Over time we repaired her bathroom some and used bleach spray to finish the fly's off . Although vinegar might do the same.

These indoor bug zappers are great at attracting and killing little flying insects. The one I keep in the garage is always filled with dead bugs. I keep the other in the back hallway but it's never as filthy as the one in the garage or my larger bug zapper in the backyard which means they're doing their job. They draw very little energy too. My energy meter registers them at .00A/.00W which means you can leave these plugged in and on for pennies per year.

Used for only 3 hours and the room was full of burning smell. Not a single bug zapped. Waste of time and I should've read the previous review that revealed how the 5 star reviews were obviously fake as they were all on the same day (Sept 27). Returning.Hopefully in the future Amazon will have logic to detect spam reviews like this.

Got this for our garage where we have had some mosquitos. Every morning there are 1 to 3 dead mosquitos in the unit. Works great. If you're in a hurry to empty it, handle it gingerly with the grill off. It will give you a good zap before the charge dissipates. The instructions on the back of the unit are quite funny. They need a better copywriter.

This does not do a thing for mosquito's. It has been raining a lot here and for some reason this year I am having a mosquito invasion in San Francisco. I have killed 10 of them in a ONE day period. This didn't kill a single one of them!

I like it but mosquitos don't. I had not checked it fore awhile and when I did the grid was covered with bodies .skeeters I found a batch of gold color tiny bugs underneath it.
