DC Men's Versaflex Action Sports Shoe

I've worn skate shoes most of my life. The shoes I used to skate with had an average lifespan of only about 3 months, so I would constantly buy cheap shoes because I knew they would be trashed soon. After I gave up skateboarding, I found my skate shoes to have about a 10 month lifespan before the soles became trash. With these shoes, the soles are built to last. If you're sick of buying skate shoes on a regular basis, try these shoes out. They are kind of tight at first, but after they stretch for a few days, they fit nice and snug. They feel really good to walk in because of the impact fx. I also delve in parkour, and dropping say 10 feet in these babies hurts substantially less than with the standard skate shoe. And since they're skate shoes, they work extra well to keep your foot stuck to the board. The designs all look and feel really nice. The only thing that might push you away from buying these shoes, is that in person these shoes at a glance look more like track shoes than skate shoes. I'm not bothered by this at all, but some kids want to be sure people know they're wearing skate shoes to be "cool", or "different". If you like wearing skate shoes just because, these shoes are definitely worth upgrading to.

I was having some bad foot pain and regular skate shoes just weren't cutting it anymore. I was told to go buy a running shoe with extra support but have you seen running shoes? I'm not a fan of bright neon colors (not to mention the fact they all look like some kid just went to town with a box of crayons, randomly choosing colors at will) so to find a nice, stylish pair of black shoes with support was great.Plus I didn't want to throw in the towel so soon and settle for a pair of "old man" shoes like New Balance. I may have crossed 30, but damn it I can still look good!Great shoe, only problem is they run a little small, so if you have wide feet like me get a size up. I wear a 12, got a 13 and they fit snuggly.

The previous reviews about size are somewhat accurate but I think all DC shoes run a little small. I actually purchased a half size lower than normal this time. They are slightly snug but are already stretching nicely. Lots of compliments so far. I love shoes with bubbles on the bottom. In regards to the comments about them being like running shoes... not at all. They are normal DC shoes with a very minute sporty tone. The only thing appearance wise that is not depicted well is the back of the shoe (heel). Hard to explain but it is see through rubber. I have never seen this before. I was a little off-put at first but now I am indifferent.If you are on the fence, buy them.

I looked at all the other reviews before ordering these shoes and pretty much everything said was true. Very comfortable, good looking, look a little like a running shoe, but not really...I ordered a half size small based on other reviews and glad I did, they would've been too tight. My wife constantly compliments me in them, she loves them on me. There just isnt anything bad I can say about these shoes...I think if you think you will like them, than you're gonna like them!

The bottom of the shoes has designated sockets filled with specific psi made for balance 25 back 15 middle and 10 in front they are comfortable and have nice design. They are worth 90 $$ these shoes are perfect for skaters I'm a fan of dc shoes because of there comfort and there durability. They last years. They are amazing shoes. I don't always buy skater shoes but when I do I buy DC shoes !!!

This was my first pair of DC's and unaware of the sizing issue, I ordered my normal size. Should have gone half a size bigger. That being said, these are super comfy and are my "go-to" casual shoes. I'm not a skater, just a guy who likes variety and comfort. DC hits both of those marks in the Versaflex. Looking for another pair in a different color. The price I got these at was amazing (originally priced at $100, got them for $50). Thanks Amazon for the great deal.

Ordered this for my son for Christmas since all the stores were out of stock in size 11. He insisted on this particular color combination. They were sent directly to his place and he received them in 3 days and couldn't wait to shoe them off! They run pretty true to size or just a tad smaller but he likes them roomy.

Awesome shoes, one of the best shoes that I had. I would recommend. Good quality, good design and are very comfortable.
