Hawaiian North Shore Goodies All Original Coconut Peanut Butter Gift Set

I first heard of “North Shore Goodies” peanut butter from a friend when their family returned from a trip to Hawaii. They loved it and made it seem like a ‘must’ when I found out that my family would be headed to Hawaii later that summer. When I was able to find it at the gift shop in our resort, I was so excited to finally try it, but was immediately shot down by my parents due to the outrageous cost. When having been told “no”, due to the price, I decided to look for alternate sources. I was able to find it on Amazon for a somewhat reasonable price that convinced my parents to purchase it. It has a unique taste, with a different variety of ingredients that are not usually found in your average American peanut butter and is surprisingly healthy for as good as it tastes.Unlike most peanut butter that’s found in local grocery stores, the “North Shore Goodies” Hawaiian peanut butter hits the flavor factor on a whole new level. The two main ingredients of the spread are coconut and peanuts. The combination of the fresh, all-natural coconuts and peanuts forms a sweet, but not overpowering taste in your mouth. This sweet and salty spread can be put on anything you would think to put average peanut butter on and tastes similar, if not better.While you would assume something so flavorful and addictive to be on the unhealthy side, this peanut butter has impressive nutritional value, with only 32 Calories and less than 1 gram of sugar per serving. Compared to other peanut butter brands, “North Shore Goodies” peanut butter is much healthier.The appealing nutrition facts do come with a cost. I first bought this in Hawaii and loved it so much I looked for it on Amazon. The smoothest, most delicious peanut butter I've ever tasted. Addictive. I have tried other peanut butters with coconut (and there are very few, BTW) and they didn't hold a candle to this.

Heard about these from a friend's instagram. There is a definite coconut taste, not at all bad. I didn't find any chunks of coconut, not sure if there should be or not. No sugar added but this is sweet. Great on toast! Would I buy it again? Maybe, the price is what would stop me. Also, these bottles are small!!!I definitely would not use this for baking cookies, although the taste would be phenomenal. Too pricey for anything but licking the spoon or highlighting on waffles or toast.

This product arrived and out of the box, the three bottles arrive in a plastic bag. Two of the bottles had already been opened, with the screw tops already off and peanut butter leaking out. None of the three bottles were sealed in any way so there’s no way to know if the product has been tampered with. Unfortunately, this product is not eligible for any sort of return to seller, so this is a very expensive addition to the trash.

I haven't opened the items yet, but there is a notice on the label that wasn't shown in the product listing images. "Not Guaranteed if bought on Amazon or E-Bay. To Reoder: Visit Northshoregoodiesnet." I hope this is safe to eat, either way, I'll be ordering direct from North Shore Goodies going forward.

One of the best things I have ever tasted. When you first open a jar, the scent of coconut is a bit overpowering, but it is not overly coconutty or artificial tasting at all. Great texture, and I love that it is only two ingredients. Yes, it is a bit expensive, but it is well worth the price. Will definitely purchase again.If you are sending this as a gift, just know that it may not arrive in pristine condition -- my set arrived quite dinged up (contents were still perfect but "gift box" and protective plastic was in pretty rough shape/dented/ripped).

This coconut peanut butter is fantastic - but the 8 oz container is too small. I’m hoping North Shore Goodies will consider offering a 16 oz size - but NOT at twice the price. It’s already a little pricey - but quality doesn’t come cheap.
