The Franklin Tuukka Rask hockey goalie stick is exactly the piece of equipment you need to take your game to the streets. This strong, multi-ply birch stick is designed with Tuukka Rask and Boston Bruins signature graphics that give it an athletic touch. It features a blade molded from high-impact polymer for durability and abrasion resistance during those down and dirty games.

Good product...wrong color
Delivered on time without issue.Ordered the version with a white blade, intentionally. However, I recieved the version with a black blade. I'll live, but that may be an issue for other consumers. Buyer be informed.

I Had No Idea This Was Going to Make Me a Cool Mom
It said it was a pair but I only received one. That aside, this is an awesome hockey stick. My 16 year old son was estatic when he got it. I know nothing about hockey, other than my son loves it. I gave it to him and he got all excited saying, "Awesome you got me a Tuukka stick!?" And of course I played it up like I was the most awesome mom ever and actually knew what the heck he was talking about. I know now. Thank you Google. How did we parent without you?Aside from him being excited about the stick in general he kept talking about how nice it was. It is a solid, heafty stick and seems really well made. My son added some grip tape to it and has played "goalie" for his little sisters who have lighter, softer sticks but love to play hockey and emulate their bigger brothers. He's also taken it to play with his friends. Now here's how I know this is a quality product. It's standing up to my son's abuse. He breaks EVERYTHING. PS4 controller? He goes through about one a month. Baseball bat? He's broken 3 this year. Skateboard? Waiting for repair in the garage. Guitar? I don't even want to talk about it. I even make him keep an Otterbox case on his phone at all times because he's broken so many phones and I was sick of paying the deductible to replace them. Yet he has not damaged this stick. That says a heck of a lot about quality to me. Anything that can last a month or more with him has to be practically indestructible. My husband said he's surprised at the quality of the stick and that good quality is hard to find nowadays without paying an arm and a leg. If you're looking for a quality stick this one seems to be a great pick.

Great for family fun - comes with one not two sticks
So I ordered this after getting my niece and nephew the batman and superman hockey sticks. According to the headline it said "Franklin Sports Tuukka Rask Goalie Stick, 40", Pair" the word Pair meant to me that I would be getting two sticks. I thought this would be perfect because even though I haven't played street hockey since I was in middle school - we would then have two sticks for the adults to play with the little ones. We try to encourage playing sports and games with the small ones so that they (especially my nephew) can learn about teamwork and hone some fine motor skills. So one stick arrive - good thing it's ambidexterous because half of the adults are righties and the other half are lefties. Not having the pair I was expecting changed the game from one adult one kid per team into two kids versus one adult as goalie. Either way we are all having a great time. The stick seems pretty sturdy and is working well as a goalie stick. We are from Florida so we aren't really prepping anyone for a future career in hockey -we are just using this for family fun time. I don't know how this rates against other goalie sticks if you were going to play seriously, but for family fun it works perfectly.

Good Goalie Stick
My 13 year old son loves this stick! Per his feedback, the shaft has a comfortable feel with or without gloves. As an ice hockey goalie with interest in street hockey, he has used it with street hockey balls, a 'green biscuit' training puck, a 'smarthockey' practice ball, a tennis ball, a lacrosse ball, a sponge puck, a floor hockey ball, and a real puck. Obviously the feel with a street hockey ball is best but the plastic feels reasonably absorbent when handling the biscuit or the smarthockey stick handling training ball. The floor hockey ball is a bit light for anything but stick handling skills.Since it's a straight blade it can be used whether you are left- or right-handed. It's solid and the blade has yet to be destroyed by our cement driveway save for some minor grazes. The blade is secured firmly to the wooden handled shaft with screws. We've destroyed a few street hockey sticks and this one has endured better than most.

Quality Goalie Strey Hockey Stick
This is a good quality, substantial street hockey goalie stick. In my attached picture you can see the difference between the player sticks and the goalie stick. It has a longer plastic shaft and there are no air flow holes, therefore, it's slightly heavier and a little more cumbersome than the typical player sticks. My son plays street hockey for fun, so they would use any sticks they can get, but there is definitely a difference when you pick up this goalie stick.Of course it is adorned with the Boston Bruins, a household fave since my husband is from Massachusetts. It is well made and would be a good addition to any street hockey gear.
