Embryonic Breathing: The Taoist Method of Opening the Dan Tian Paperback – September 19, 2016

Great source material for those that practice the energetic cultivation of the lower elixir field or Dan Tian. The foundation of the book is a short 9 verse text on Embryonic Breathing and its commentary attributed to scholar and Taoist priest of the Dragon Gate Sect. Mr. Olson does a great job adding to the core material of the book. This book covers a lot of foundational material of Embryonic Breathing. This practice is the core and foundation for many sects and practices such as Mo Pai, Long Men Pai, marrow washing, and internal boxing arts.

This is an exceptional writing offering rare insight into immortality practices, which are rarely explained, and virtually never written of in unveiled language. It a wonderful teaching, is an important teaching for any student of inner development. I would respectfully suggest that the practice of the embryonic breathing technique be done under the guidance of a qualified teacher..

I was expecting more how to information. This doesn't teach reverse breathing. It is a translation of an ancient Chinese text.

This little book is a piece of gold. It provides critical information for those seriously undertaking a process of cultivation. This is not a book for simple reading. You need to read and redead, understand and practice.
