First of all there have been 2 one star reviews that have been deleted from this listing. If that isn’t sketchy to you, then idk what is. I’ll keep this short and simple. I bought the 5dBi antenna. Antenna is great and my rewards have significantly grown.The problem: this is not an LMR-400 cable. Another individual (who had their comment deleted) determined that this cable has around 1.25dBi of cable loss……not good to say the least.You get what you pay for. For $80 this isn’t a bad purchase, but just know you’re getting a cheap antenna with a knockoff cable.

5.8dbi antenna when placed outside and on my roof definitely improved the amount of witnesses I was getting and mining returns with my RAK MNTD miner. However, noticed that I was pretty limited in the range I was expecting and realized that the cable was the problem. I switched to a short pigtail connector a friend had from his RAKWireless antenna and used it with this one and it immediately improved. Cutting the included RAIGEN 400 cable confirmed that it was copper clad aluminum and reducing the signal strength badly. Buy this for the antenna and U-bracket hardware, but find a different cable.

Beware, this is not a small antenna. Make sure you have space for both antenna and the unit.Other than that, I am using 8dbi with SenseCap M1 at 9meters. It works great. Definitely recommend it.

I have a 4dbi, 5.8dbi and 8dbi antenna. So far I am cycling through them all to see what works the best. Since, i swapped from the 8dbi to the 5.8 my numbers have increased more. I am using this to get over the tree line a bit since 8 dbi is more of a straight line. I would recommend for the future

I left the antenna on for a week and did not get any signal to anything even my other hotspot that is really close. I have a suspicion it damaged my miner as it will not work with the factory antenna any more either. Yes it was connected properly. I am not new to RF.

This antenna has a high quality build. I went from 15 witnesses to 77 over night. My miner and antenna set up was more than paid for in the first month after upgrading to this antenna.

I guess this served its purpose, but don't think it's really rated what it claims to be. I installed an exact spec from diff company and have better rewards. I felt like I've been missing out with this product.

I couldn't get any witnesses with this but did after switching back to the stock antennae. I've read the cables these come with aren't that great, maybe that's the issue. Who knows.
