I live on an island in Washington state & mice eat EVERYONE’S automobile wiring! Folks spend thousands to repair or let their insurance declare the car totaled. After trying everything (Bounce laundry sheets, battery operated noise deterrents, traps, leaving the hood open each night), a friend suggested this product. IT WORKS LIKE A CHARM!!!I like the minty clove smell. The scent does wear off so I re-spray the entire engine, air vents & front wheel wells every 4 days.

I had car problems starting my Ford Edge it barely cranked and was running ragged. I got to my auto shop (barely) and they found pests had been knawing on the electrical wiring, likely mice or squirrels. Fixed for $400. A week later same problem! Once again got it to shop but only just...another $400 to fix, mechanic showed me the wiring. Bought this to ward off mice as they apparently can't stand the strong odor peppermint oil. It worked! Just spray on wiring surfaces in the engine compartment!

You need to package the sprayer separately as it had broken on top of the bottle and would not work. As a result, I lost at least 1/4 of the bottle and have that repellent all over my hands.The burning sensation helps the arthritis, however that strong odor is all I can smell. I washed my hands about 10 times with everything from soft soap, to dawn, to perfume soap and the smell won't go away.It's down a quarter of a bottle as a result of it leaking. Do you want to fix this or should I apply for a refund as it arrived broken and leaking. Sprayer would not work and I'm probably going to have to wash these clothes separately to see if I can get the smell out and take a shower. Very strong.Probably would work if I had a bottle I could hold. Very slippery

Really works! Had a squirrel problem at the beginning of planting season, digging up my seeds. This helped keep them at bay till my plants were established. Will buy again.

I sprayed this on my flower bed to repel squirrels. It killed my tulips in less than an hour. On the product page it says it is safe on outdoor plants. When you unpackage the bottle, note that on the side it says do not spray on plants. I wish this information were on Amazon's product page, as well.

Well, I have been using it generously around my house for about a week and my mouses in my house have spoken... lol... :)Personally, I don't think this peppermint oil is STRONG ENOUGH, although it does have the smell of peppermint that lasts for about couple of hours. I bought this peppermint oil spray to keep mouses from our garbage bags left in the basement until the garbage day and mouses would put bunch of holes through the bags to eat whatever is inside. So, I spray inside and outside garbage bags, before they are taken to the basement. Since I started to spray this oil, there hasn't been any holes in the bags, which is a good thing. However, there is one thing that I am not happy about.Depending on how GENEROUS you are with your spraying, this bottle of peppermint spray could last you just one day or two days or 1 week or 1 whole month. I have been spraying around the house and on our garbage bags on and off since I got in the mail (4-7-25) which is about one week ago and I am already down to 1/4 of the bottle. That means you will have to buy a bigger bottle or a lot more bottles of this stuff to last you at least for one month.Do I recommend this product? Yes, cause it does work but wish it lasts little longer.That's my two cents, my friends. Happy Amazon Shopping. :)
