Prevents overflow so no grounds in coffee.
I have searched for coffee filters large enough to prevent overflow on my drip coffee maker. Other products described to accommodate 12 cup coffee makers, frequently overflow resulting in coffee grounds in the pot. These prevent any overflow. Very satisfied!

Oversized coffee filters

Fits ok in Oxo 12 cup. Not perfect but it works.Thinner than the Oxo filters but significantly more affordable. Can double up.
