I am a big Victorinox fan. I have been collecting them for a while. I don't have the expensive, rare ones. I just can't afford them. I have the Angler knife that was discontinued. I had a Fisherman years ago and I gave it away. I decided I better get one to go with my Angler before they stop making them. I could always buy a used one. But why not get a new one while I can? It is a Victorinox. So they are amazing. They come sharp. But you can get them razor sharp easily. It is easy to carry. Not to big. Not to heavy. Just a quality knife that you expect from Victorinox. What a perfect design.

After nearly 1 year of owning this, I can confidently say that my most used tools are the scissors, 2 knife blades, Philips screwdriver, and hook in that order. The construction is tight, durable, and can handle drops. The tools loosen up with use, and you can quicken this process by washing the entire knife in soap and warm water. After drying for 24 hours with all tools open, apply an oil to the hinges and cracks. I use baby oil, which is food safe, in case I use this knife to cook.

Bought one of these 40 years ago that is still kicking after a lot of use. This is my second that I bought for a friend. 100% identical as far as I can tell in both appearance and quality.

As per any Victorinox product quality rarely disappoints. The fish decal gives a rather basic knife a nice little upgrade. This makes a great gift for a pre-teen or adult. My 14yo son loves his and has become one of his most treasured gifts. Easily one of the best and affordable gifts for young men.

Can’t beat a Swiss Army knife it’s exactly what you’d expect out of of a Swiss Army knife, if you don’t own any buy one.

I bought this for my grandson as a Christmas gift (not yet Christmas but I am sure he will like it). I have several Swiss Army knives and they are all good quality. The price was very competitive. Shipped faster than promised. Go ahead get one, you won't be sorry.

It's awesome! It is such a pretty knife. I am going to use this knife for fishing and camping. It is my favorite swiss army knife that I own now. I own five swiss knives now. The Tinker, Vic Evogrip 16, Serrated Wenger Highlander, Angler, and Fisherman. This one is my favorite of them all. I never found much use for a cork screw when fishing, I'm not much of a wine drinker. The bottle opener is wonderful, and it's a good size screwdriver, the scissors are great for clipping line and much more. When a fish swallows your fly the hook gouger really can get back there. There is a big blade for cleaning fish, small blade to keep sharp for use as medical scoupal. The multipurpose hook can be good for pulling up tent stakes if you are a camper, Everything functions well.

Fisherman and especially fisherman are gadget people. For us, it's difficult find one tool that does it all.However, this Fisherman Knife/Tool is a wonderful compromise that proves to be ever so handy without having to wear a lanyard around your neck. However, like all of the Victorinox knives, they are easy to lose.So I advise you attach it to a zinger so you don't lose it!
