This pillow is a modular design that has 5 separate wrapped thinner foam pads. You can adjust the height that feels comfortable by taking out one or more foam pads. What worked for me was to take out one of the thinner pads. Then use that pad, as suggested by another reviewer, to put into one of the squeezy pillows to give it some firmming up. Out of the box, the pillow is very firm. So I just pressed my fist into the pillow to "start the memory foam adjusting". I like the overall pillow ordered another one.

Pillow is very good quality. I have recommended to others, so nice to be able to adjust height needed for my neck which is very sensitive! Would buy again.

I am picky about my pillows and have wasted so much money trying different pillows. I have to say, I was satisfied with the quality and comfort this pillow offered. It took longer than I had hoped for the foam to fully form after taking it out of the vacuum-sealed box but I was finally able to sleep comfortably through the night. The pillow is firm enough to offer support for my head/neck but soft enough to allow for comfort. I love the option of being able to take out layers of foam to adjust for your comfort level. I have not yet determined if I prefer 3 layers of foam or 4 but at this point I think I am splitting hairs. I would recommend this pillow for others who are picky about their pillow.

Love this pillow. I am a side sleeper and need a pillow that has a certain firmness and thickness. The firmness feels just right for me, not too soft so my head won't sink, but not too firm either so my neck won't get stiff. The thickness is especially no problem because I was able to remove one of the four layers inside the pillow. It's the perfect pillow for me. Would buy again.

The LOFE Adjustable Memory Foam Pillow could just finally be the pillow of my dreams. Regular cheap pillows, even firm or extra firm, just aren't cutting it anymore. In any event, they would only ever last a couple years before needing to be replaced. I have yet to find out how long the LOFE pillow will last, but for now, it's Excellent!Pretty much since the beginning of the year or earlier, I've been having some severe neck pain in the morning, that got to the point of waking me up an hour or more earlier than my planned wakeup time. I've been regularly seeing a chiropractor for many years now. Part of the issue is that my current chiropractor wasn't able to properly handle my neck issues, which are indeed challenging even for the best of them. I did change chiropractors recently, which is helping tremendously, but the pillows... this has been a big problem.On the advice of an excellent massage therapist, I also tried the big blocky Core Products pillow for side sleepers (which I am), which has the indentation in the middle for when one sleeps on one's back on it. That helped quite a bit for a while, but I've found it too difficult to sleep through the night with, and it's a little too hard. I was alternating between that and a beefed up regular pillow combo.When I first got the LOFE pillow, I tried using just one of the sections along with the regular pillow, in the place of a thin little travel pillow I'd been combining it with. This was a good improvement, but still not what I really needed. I finally just tried the complete LOFE pillow, all 4 sections together, and WOW! I think this is it. Such a great pillow! I had not realized how kind of perfect it would be just by itself with all 4 sections. And my neck is finally happy again. We'll see how long the pillow holds up, and I'll try to update this review if something changes. Btw, it's about the same thickness of the Core Products "Average" size pillow, but considerably softer, while remaining firm and supportive.

It would be hard for me to count the amount of money I spent the last few years on pillows, all of them advertise that they never went flat, but sadly they all did. Finally, I stumbled upon the LOFE adjustable memory foam pillow, I ordered it right away, after I received it, I followed the instructions to let the layers rise to their full height and firmness., I did not notice any off-gassing, and the pillowcase that it comes in is washable bamboo, with a zipper opening to easily adjust the layers. I opted for the gray and it’s very attractive. Each individual layer has its own protective cover to protect the memory foam, not just the bare foam that you find in some products.It comes with four memory foam layers that you can customize for your perfect sleep position. Right now, I’m using all four layers because I like it a little bit firm, it does give a little in the middle, as you would expect, but nothing approaching the flatness that you get with a lot of pillows, I find this extremely comfortable and since it’s adjustable it should suit my needs if my sleeping habits change in the future.I am happy to say that it has not gone flat, it gives me the support I need to help me get a good night’s sleep. It is money well spent.
