That were he forced to pick only one, he'd choose probiotics over vitamins. That's based on his theory that vitamin supplements aren't very effective unless you have an efficient digestive system, which probiotics provide.I've been taking probiotics for many years. I don't know if they've helped -- how can I know what illnesses I've avoided? -- but I feel good.Absorption is always an issue with supplements. Tablets contain binders that can hinder absorption, so generally, capsules, softgels, and tinctures are better than tablets. Siberian Green Probiotics come in capsules, which is good.However, Siberian Green has the fewest number of CFUs of any probiotic supplement that I've seen so far -- only 750 million CFUs per serving (one capsule).* By contrast, each serving of Maktrek Probiotics With Prebiotics (three capsules) has 60 billion CFU of probiotics.* Each serving of Inno Gut Restore (two capsules) has 10.15 billion CFU.* Each serving (two capsules) of Dr Tobias Deep Immune Probiotics & Prebiotics has 4.4 billion CFU.* Each serving of Gut Feelings (one capsule) has 3 billion CFU of probiotics.* Each serving (one capsule) of 310 Probiotic has 10 billion CFU.* Each serving (two capsules) of Ancient Nutrition SBO Probiotics contain 25 billion CFU.So Siberian Green comes out on bottom, even if you take two or three capsules for a serving.Siberian Green has a very faint scent, as does Maktrek.Dr Tobias has a strong scent that evokes memories of cheese or (more closely) bread, but I'm not certain if that's it.Inno Gut Restore has no scent, which is also true of Gut Feelings and 310.Ancient Nutrition has a faint scent.

I found several empty capsules and many partially filled capsules in the bottle. The capsule on the left is empty and the middle capsule is partially filled in the photo. I found several capsules like these in the bottle. If the capsules are visibly defective, it leads me to question the quality of the contents.I reached out to customer service but they did not respond.Even the image on Amazon is deceptive. It shows 3 bottles but they only send one.This company needs to be banned from Amazon.

The product is fine. The issue is the bottles have a lot of empty capsules I wonder if it's this lot or if they have an ongoing issue maybe 30% of the capsules are empty.
