Dove Refillable Deodorant Refill Kit Deodorant For Women Coconut & Pink Jasmine 0% Aluminum 1.13 oz 2 Refills

This was the dove refillable deodorant in the “refillable stainless steel case“. It broke apart during first use. I had thrown away the packaging so I can’t return the item. This sounded like a great concept, but the execution was poor. The whole deodorant stick just came apart when I used it the first time.

I've been using the Dove refillable for a few years. Not only is the case non plastic it is very tiny and perfect for travel. No more searching the container for ounces or having to purchase additional 'travel size' that ends up drying up waiting for my next trip.The scent is very mild and pleasant. The deodorant is Dove and the effectiveness is the same as the larger plastic containers. The refills seem to last longer than the regular sticks.I am happy Dove finally came out with a Men's version. I purchased a set for my husband that he will begin using when he finishes the current stick.

This deodorant smells amazing. It keeps its scent for hours on end and makes me feel like I am wearing a dryer sheet. On the first swipe it broke off from the base and fell onto the ground. It is too soft for how tall/exposed it is. Mine was a little harder than a lotion paste. Amazing deodorant, if you can work around the breaking.

Great concept but unusable at all. It breaks off after few uses. In addition the top cover doesn't fix with the base and falls off verly easily. it was annoying to put it in my bag as well, as it makes my stuff dirty.However, overall, I like the smell. It doesn’t totally rid the body order but does reduce it.Hopefully they can fix the design to maybe shorten the size of the deodorant stick so it’s not falling off.

I really wanted to love this and cut down on the amount of plastic waste that I am contributing to our environment. I do like the metal container. It feels nice in your hand. The design looks nice too.I opened the actual deodorant piece and put it in place. It was somewhat difficult to open and I noticed that it comes in a hard plastic package?! It twists onto the base and the plastic is discarded.The second time I used the deodorant stick, it broke completely off of the base at the very bottom. I now have a slippery bar of gooey deodorant and a nice paperweight.I am going to have to go out and buy more deodorant because this is completely unusable.

I’ve been using this product for a year or two. At first, I was highly frustrated with the design since the deodorant stick broke off the base.Lightbulb moment!! Turn the product 90° so that when you are swiping up and down on your armpits, the stick is oriented up and down (like a capital letter I) rather than side to side (like a hyphen -). It’s going to be more sturdy and adorable in this orientation. Also, when it is new, I am more careful when I apply it and if it seems like it’s going to be a little hard to swipe on, a single drop of water on my skin makes it huge difference in how easily it applies.I love that this is aluminum free. I feel better about using it over the long term than a regular anti-perspirant/deodorant. Overall, I’ve been very pleased with this, and I like that it creates less plastic waste!

My partner and I both use the refillable Dove deodorant and they work great! The size is perfect for throwing in a bag on your way out the door and works really well for both of us. The only problem is that it can be a little fragile so we have to use it very carefully. Once we got that down, there has been no problems since. The smell is great and it's been good for someone with sentive skin.

In theory this looks like a good product. Less waste of plastic and small size for travel. Well the deodorant area broke off the base the second time I used it. After that the only way to use the deodorant was to hold a greasy mess with my hands to apply, so it just went in the trash. This does not help the environment or my wallet! I e-mailed Dove/Unilever and they said they would send me a replacement coupon. That was back in November, and here we are in January and I still have not gotten anything from them. This makes we want to to using other Unilever products as well!
