We purchased this sofa for our basement rec room TV area. We purchased it because of the color and name being Ashley. It was fairly good to put together. A lot of assembly required. Not unreasonable for these days. The fit of the sofa from coccyx to knees was narrow for us. It was very narrow. We are not large people. I would recommend this for staging purposes of a house. We sometimes take out the back part of the couch to "fit into" the couch. We kept it because we don't really use this couch often and we were too lazy to go through another hassle of purchase and assemble.

I needed to buy a smaller couch to fit into a new space and this did the job. It's a fairly firm couch - which is what I prefer but if you're someone who likes to sink into the seat, this won't be it. It was easy to assemble. At first I thought that I hadn't received all of the pieces but it's actually packed together like a puzzle. The cushions are inside the back of the couch, where the fabric is velcroed.Overall, this couch got the job done and has been going strong for almost a year now. Do I think it's worth the price? Not quite, but I knew what I was getting into with Ashley Furniture brand.

Easy to assemble.

This couch is incredibly unstable. The two pieces come apart as there is nothing holding them together. It’s awful and I could not be more dissatisfied. I wish I could return it but not even sure how I would go about that not that we have assembled it. I use that term loosely since it doesn’t even stay together…….Update! I called and Amazon was amazing (as always) in helping to find a resolution to returning this. It is being picked up later this week.

Let me start off by saying if you want the quality of a thousand dollar couch don't buy this but if you are looking for starter furniture that's not going to break the bank Ashley's version of build it yourself ikea style furniture is by far worth it I am happy with my purchase. Note I am 5' 11" tall and a 190 lbs with bad hips and lower back issues from my pregnancies I appreciate that a this is a firm couch and b I don't sink into it thus having to illicit the help of a dang crane to get me out. As I said before I bought this as a starter couch this purchase was made with full expectation that I would be replacing it with somthing of more value and better quality in the future however it suits its purchase nicely for now and replaces the camp chairs I was using. So in all is a decent buy.

The color and fabric is nice on the couch. The only thing I would change if anything is the cushions to be a bit thicker and for there not to be a seam in the middle of the couch where the two pieces come together. It is a neutral nice pice of furniture for the price and we have bought Ashley before so I know their quality is not bad.

It was very easy to assemble. Hubby brought it in, I assembled it and was sitting on it within ten minutes.Everything is packed in the seats and you pull the velcro on the edge and unload everything and put it together.No tools needed either, major plus! We got a lot of compliments on it at Thanksgiving from our family!

Just received this couch. It's so cheap, it's unbelievable. If I'd paid $100 it would have been too much, let alone $400. Do not buy this you'll regret it as soon as it's assembled. Now I have to figure out a way to get it back in something to return it!
