Craig Frames American Barn, Faux Barnwood Picture Frame, Brown Oak, 11 x 14 Inch

I didn't read the product description closely enough. The wood is fake, it's covered with vinyl of some kind to look like barnwood. The clear piece is a thick plastic. I chose it because it was the only item that met the aesthetic I wanted and was a single. I didn't want an extra frame floating around that I would never use. I'm not sure it's value is a fair price considering you can get double frames for similar and made out of higher quality materials.

Shipping was quick, the product is beautiful, sturdy, and fits our print perfectly. Frame is high quality- well worth the price, just like the picture, and it was packaged very well to withstand travel.

Well...I got fooled. I thought that "Faux Barnwood" meant that it was wood, just not actual (i.e. aged) wood from a barn. But what it REALLY means is that it AIN'T WOOD AT ALL...OF ANY KIND! It's thick fiberboard with a vinyl wrap.So, for the price (a bit expensive for what it's really made of), I am a bit disappointed.However, to be fair, it really does LOOK very good! And since it is sturdy enough...so I guess I'm overall okay with it. I just don't like being fooled. They do say "Faux", but what I thought they meant is that it was not actually aged wood from a barn. I (foolishly?) expected a clever finish on an open-grained wood.In sum, at half the price it would have been a good buy...but for what it costs...it's just "okay".

I have four of these frames and I think they are very much worth the money. I was afraid the glass would break during delivery, but they the packaging is great. I use them for the cover art of several of books I've written. They aren't too heavy, easy to hang and easy to place the pictures in. I'll keep buying these frames for each book I write. Great craftsmanship!

I get compliments on them (I have 2) all the time. Very rustic looking.

Frame is exactly as expected, which I really like. The “glass” however is a very cheap high glare plastic that is not with the cost of this frame.

Pleased with this frame. Only issue I encountered was trying to affix the nails & wire to the frame in the back to allow me to gang it.

Very good quality. I’m pleased. Definitely recommend.
