Awesome veg light better than t5
These lights are awesome, there in nothing else like it out. I finally found an LED light that can replace T5s for vegging plants. The 5000k color is on point. It absolutely compete with 2 54w HO "nanotech reflected" T5's lumen for lumen. It's like a lil brother version of the Fluence Ray 44 an extremely high end led light that is 85w for $250, that light is great but doesn't offer a veg spectrum. I urge anyone who uses t5 for anything to switch over to these they are that good. Since the lens is clear and all the leds fire in one direction T5 simply cannot compete with the penetration power of these at any distance. This light has a much higher PAR per watt against the t5s, even if the t5 and leds were matched in lumens no matter many watts it takes for the t5s to match them it still wouldn't win. Because even lumen for lumen the t5s fall out of the spectrum range that plants want (even if you got 5000k bulbs) while these leds at 5000k have much less "spectrum leakage" than t5s. These leds dont enter in the UV or IR range while the t5 does so that extra power goes wasted. Again, it might look the same to your eyes but the plants know better. These are cheaper than t5, lighter, smaller, brighter, cooler, what more do you need to know?FYI: the light actually measure 46" not 49" as stated in the photo just in case someone was worried about squeezing it in a 4' space.

Flick-free, bright white light
I bought this fixture to use with my Shaper Origin CNC wood router. It uses a camera and image processing to locate itself on the surface being cut. The flicker of some LED fixtures causes trouble for this vision system. In fact, my previous cheap LED shop light caused it a lot of trouble. I chose this fixture on a recommendation from the forums for that tool and it appears to work well.In addition to this pretty specialized aspect, it is a good-looking fixture. The extruded aluminum chassis is far superior to the usual sheet metal shop light in looks, and it is much more rigid as well. The hanging system is good-looking and simple to install. Since this was installed in my garage wood shop, this wasn't a high priority for me. As mentioned in one of the questions, I already had hooks in the ceiling and simply wound the cable around the hook: the path of least resistance. But it would have been easy enough to use their system for a better-looking installation if I had been willing to unscrew the hooks. The clip that mounts the cable to the light fixture is not the one shown in the pictures. It is a sheet metal clip; you can see it in the picture attached, and in the video in the images that go with this item. Some people complain about the rocker switch in the cord. This isn't an issue for me as the fixture is plugged into an outlet controlled by a wall switch. But indeed, if you have a ceiling outlet, a pull chain might be better. The light quality is excellent. I find that it renders wood color well. Quite bright, a great work light for my shop. I am planning to get more of them to replace the rest of the cheap fixtures.

Very Bright and Clean Appearance. However, dimensions not at stated/shown.
As my title states, very bright and clean appearance. However, dimensions not at stated/shown.Actual assembled length is 46 3/8 inchesActual assembled width is 3 3/8 inchesItem's title claims that the light is 4 feet (48 inches) in length, the pictures have a diagram showing 49 inches, and it measures 46 3/8 inches. This is by no means a deal breaker but, at least try to stay consistent with your specifications. I understand that 4 feet is your "Nominal" size, but going by the diagram length pictured and Technical Details provided, you owe me 2 5/8 inches of light.Other than dimensions being incorrect, I really like the light.

as at about 16'' they are more like 9k lumens/ 6'' 17k they stay very cool
very compact design; the clear tubes are why i choose these, as at about 16'' they are more like 9k lumens/ 6'' 17k they stay very cool. plenty of mounting options, plus their own very interesting cable option. the 5k is hitting very hard at 490-500nm lots of green and pretty flat till 630nm or so. its not very good photo light as even though the tubes are clear they do shear the light on photos. i understand the price on this product as its clearly worth it, but there are still cheaper options if you want to cut, or remove the diffusers on other lights. I think the 4 pack is your best value.

ONE OF THE BEST LED FIXTURES I'VE EVER USED!
BY FAR, ONE OF THE BEST LED fixtures I have ever purchased. Installation was a breeze! You do not have to mount the fixtures on the studs of the ceiling. You can install the fixtures right on the dry wall with dry wall anchors (included in the box) since the weight is less than 5 lbs.The mounting brackets are approximately 45" apart from each other but this does not have to be exact since the suspended steel cables that attaches to the dry wall anchors are flexible.2 x 5000K lights up my entire 2 car garage with plenty of light. If you are looking for a shop light, you will not regret purchasing this model.

When the ancient 4" fluorescent tube shop light in my ...
When the ancient 4" fluorescent tube shop light in my garage failed, I was surprised how expensive new bulbs were. Also, in my experience, it is not always just the bulbs, so I did not want to spend the $ for bulbs to find out I needed either a new ballast or starter. My old light was hardwired, so had to install a duplex for this, but once that was in place, this light install took only minutes, and is SOO much brighter than the old fluorescent set up. You can suspend via included cables, but I just installed the clips into the ceiling and popped it into place. Highly recommend

Great support, easy install and brilliant light
Installed my lights over the weekend and had a little problem with one of the clips snapping. Assumed it would be a hassle to get a replacement. I was proven wrong quickly. Within two rings of the 800 number listed on the paperwork I was immediately answered by a human who solved my problem after I proved the Amazon order number. I should receive my replacement clip in the next 3-5 days. 5 Stars on support and ease of install using the flush mounting kit and the light is abundant. Since this is a new garage I have no point of comparison, but please with the amount of light with 8 lights in a 24x32 garage.
