This made all the difference when using our cast iron skillet. Any time i remove from heat, i instantly put this on. I know it can be used while in the oven, and although I would not use it while in the oven, I did test it out. The handle holder did not melt or morph from the heat. This has saved us some serious burns. Makes using cast iron skillet much safer. Ended up buying more so we can keep in rotation when washing others. Would recommend.

The handle fits all my Lodge pans. I love the color. And it does work great at keeping the handle cool. I suggest you use this as you use pot holder. Instead of leaving it on the pan. Just slip it on when you need to hold or move the pan. I had my gas flame on medium when I used it. After pulling it off to clean my pan. I did notice it melted. I contacted Lodge and they responded immediately and their customer service via email was excellent. I just think to keep it perfect put it on after you turn off the flames only.

We've had a red one for a while. Works well. But we only had one, so got another (Green) in case we have two Lodge skillets going at the same time.

Using it on a non-Lodge stainless steel pot handle. The grip does get a little hot, but not burn levels. Uncomfortable for holding for long periods, like draining pasta, but for moving the pot around it was fine. Would probably be more comfortable if you remember to grab an oven mitt, but not needed. The grip doesn't slip and is easy to hold. Definitely recommend.

Not much to say about this but it does what it's meant to do. The handles of my cast-iron pans get hot while cooking so I can slide this on to move them without hurting myself. It slides on and off without much difficulty so it's not hard to use it for multiple pans at once, that said, it won't let go of your pan while you're holding it, so no worries.It should be able to handle it, but I take it off before putting anything in the oven.

I love this holder and wish I knew about it sooner. I no longer burn my hands anymore! It seems to be made of good quality. It was well priced and I really like the bright color b/c it makes it easy to find!

This Lodge silicon handle cover is supposed to fit Lodge pans over 9 inches in diameter. I have a Lodge 10.5 inch Frypan and this handle cover is a bit loose fitting. You have to squeeze it firmly while moving your pan around while cooking, emptying or washing your pan else the pan may slip right out of the cover and fall on the counter, sink, stovetop or floor. This gets even more sketchy if it gets wet or oil splatters on the handle.I feel this handle cover could have been made a bit smaller in size so that it would stretch snuggily over the pan handle instead of just casually sliding over it loosely.Just be careful.
