Motor Home Ladder replacement
Not that hard to install. The shiny joints really stand out. So after the install I coated them with black tractor paint. Sturdy and looks great on my CLASS A Winnebago 30 T motor home.

Good, but don't like the hinge joints
The bargain price compelled me to buy this ladder. The back of my RV is straight, so I didn't need the joint feature and don't really like the look of the hinge joints, which are necessary to bridge the two sections together. I am fairly mechanically competent, but it still was challenging to do all the fitting, cutting, drilling, and mounting. But the result was satisfactory. The ladder is sturdy, well made, and attractive (excepting the hinge joints). I suppose I could have engineered a joint solution that would have looked better if I had the time and inclination. It would have been nice if straight couplers were provided in addition or as an optional model. Other than this quibble, it's a good product. Not relevant to the product design, but my RV did not have really solid material behind the surface where the brackets attached for good screw holding power. Just the surface sheet of fiberglass with a thin veneer backing. After positioning all the bracket mounts and drilling the screw holes, I prepared the area under each mount and used 3,400 psi marine epoxy to add holding strength along with the 4 screws. So far, my installation seems to be very solid with no indication of strain or movement at the mounting points.

Camper ladder
Doesn't seam like it would be sturdy but once installed it is very sturdy, at time I installed I weighed 350lbs and it's rated 250lbs and held me very well now I've lost alot of weight, so can't wait to try it out this summer.

Works perfectly but install was difficult
Does exactly what it is intended to do. I am 240 or so and it holds up great and is very sturdy. Beware however, most likely your wall studs on your camper and the cross beams on the roof will not line up, however there are several points to distribute weight. Also you are not supposed to be on your camper roof more than 2 to 3 times per year. Most important point (maybe just me?) is that install was tough and you will need at least 2 people to pull it off.

Have a little Engineering mind set!
General product, Not just a snap together ladder. I used most of my old parts from roof mounts and stand off brackets as old parts was 4 times stronger then what came in parts kit, cut new stand offs out of extra ladder tubing.I used 3/16 x 1/2 inch pop rivets that made it much stronger then screws. That is how Fleetwood installed from factory. Only reason I bought this manufacture is because I wanted to go back where mounts was from factory this is 11 inch center side to side and others are 12 inch center.

Good product for the money. Its flexibility gave me what I needed
This is a good product for the money and the modular nature of the product gave me what I needed. First I should say that I did not mount mine like it is shown in the product photos. Because of where the roof support members are located on my rig (and because I HATED the thought of putting holes in my rubber roof) I decided to mount my unit to the back wall of my rig instead of having the top portion go up and onto the roof. (see photos attached). Installation was pretty simple. It took me about 4 hours but most of that time was spend figuring out how I could make what I had work with, work the way I wanted to since I was improvising. Thankfully the product is very modular and can be mounted in a number of ways based on how creative you are. Mounting to the roof is sturdier for sure since the roof picks up a lot of the load of you standing on the ladder. Since I wasn't doing it that way I had to come up with an alternative way of supporting the downward forces. I decided to mount the lower portion of the ladder on my back bumper to support the vast majority of the load. Then I used the 4 stand-off mounting posts (If they would have given me more than 4 support mounts I would have given this 5 stars) to secure to the back wall, making sure to hit studs behind the metal siding. There was some modification of parts but very easy to do. In the end I wound up with exactly what I was looking for with a modest investment of my time. Small disclaimer: I'm a contractor & mechanic so what I consider "easy modifications" and installation others might find more difficult. But basic tools and common sense goes far with this product.

Really like it!
Wasn't expecting to need to replace our ladder on the camper, but...things happen. This ladder fits perfectly and looks great.
