Powerful Antenna !
This Antop 400BV antenna, is ridiculously powerful. Around last November and throughout the duration up until December 30th 2023. The people who live in my area could not get internet through our cable company . This meant that watching cable, Netflix, Hulu, or Pluto tv was impossible . I was unable to stream anything because the internet was down and it would remain down for over a month. I reached behind my TV stand , and I dusted off an old antenna that I purchased years earlier. It wasn't a bad antenna, but the technology had changed since I had purchased it. The antenna was just your regular UHF / VHF Antenna . However it had a build in amplifier. I was only able to pick up seven channels using that antenna. I was under the impression that maybe there were only seven channels out there.. Just like back in the old days when there were not so many channels to watch on celestial tv. Seven channels , or maybe a bit more but not very many more I figured. Wow, I couldn't have been more incorrect. When I received this Antop antenna and I hooked it up . As I ran a channel scan , the channels just kept coming and coming. I believe that it found about 64 channels. Now , I probably watch more celestial TV than I watch cable tv , or Netflix and Hulu . I wish that I had ordered this thing sooner , but I waited until after Christmas to buy it. I wasn't sure as to whether or not it would work. During my time at home. I was so bored without anything to watch. I guess I'm kind of spoiled and just used to having multiple viewing options. Once that was taken away , it was a shock to my system. The channels come in very clear. There may be times when you may need to turn the antenna just slightly to pick up a few channels . However, for the most part that's not necessary. I sit my Antop Antenna on top of my deep freezer. This location is one of the sweet spots in my house, where the signal is strong. I was so impressed with this 400BV Antop antenna, that I decided to purchase a second Antop Antenna for the bedroom. This one is a little smaller, but it's still picks up most of the channels that the large one picks up. Most , but not all, because its not as large as the 400BV Antop. I had a little trouble getting KET / PBS , on the second Antop antenna . That Antop antenna is only good for 75 miles, but after pointing the antenna in the direction of the KET towers. I was getting all of the PBS / KET channels. I also added a more powerful amplifier to it , and that definitely helped. Even while using the amplifier that it came with , I was impressed . However , when using the amplifier that I purchased and added myself. Instead of the one that it came with. I was able to go from 36 channels , to about 46 channels. . This 400BV Antop antenna should provide you with the best opportunity to pick up the digital channels in your area . Keep in mind that the distance between where you live and where the towers are located, this is also a factor that must be considered . Other factors would be mountains , trees , weather and so on .

A great antenna for a difficult to serve area.
I have wanted to cut the cable for a while but finding the right antenna was a challenge. Even though I live in a suburban neighborhood, all of the transmitters for the TV stations I want are 60-70 miles away. To make it more complicated, our neighborhood frowns on outdoor antennas. I emailed Antop Customer service and they recommended this antenna over the one I was looking at. Based on their recommendation, I ordered this one (from Amazon) and installed it and I am most happy I did. The antenna is in the attic of our house and it hooks into the existing wiring from our cable TV system. That was the only hard part of this entire job - and that is not at all a fault of the antenna but rather of the way the cable TV company installed their wiring. The antenna itself seems well constructed and it works beautifully. Even the channels that TVFool identified as most likely to be problematic come in clearly. I have the antenna hooked to 3 TVs in the house and all 3 work beautifully - even at the same time (which we will never do in real life, but it made for a good test). The setup instructions are clear and all material is included, just as the ad says. If you can mount it outside, you will probably get even better results, but even today, a very rainy day with thunderstorms in the area, I'm getting clear reception with my attic installation. My take is, Antop fulfilled all of their promises both in their ad and from their customer service rep, and I couldn't be happier.

Great antenna and great customer service
This is a great antenna. We live in the mountains of northern California 72 miles from the transmission towers. I had to really work to find the perfect spot for the antenna as there is a sort of Voodoo to reception in the mountains, but I found it. Excellent reception on all channels. I called customer service before I purchased this antenna and the people there gave me great advice on which antenna I needed. We have two channels that are high VHF so I needed the extra arms to increase sensitivity to VHF reception. I tried a very directional antenna before this one and had to fiddle with it a bit too much. This one is not omni, but has a 120 degree reception spread. I just centered it on the weakest channels and everything else comes in fine, also. Paired it with a TIVO Roamio OTA and I have everything I had with my DirecTV service except the specialty channels. Over the air has some added channels not offered by the big boys, too, however. Looking at Sling or Playstation Vue to fill in those stations at a much cheaper price than I was paying.
