One stripped too easily
One of these stripped too easily, leaving me to go to the hardware store and by a stainless grade 5 bolt. However, she's been leak free for months!

good quality
These are good quality but be aware that unlike the oem studs on the Triton motor, these are fully threaded, ie. there is no shoulder that limits the depth to which the stud can be turned into the head. There are some who feel that torquing the stud into the head when the shoulder bottoms out lessens the tendency for a stud to loosen. Most manuals actually specify this torque value, and then a nut to header value after the header is installed.I couldn't find much information on the subject , but I was a little suprised to find they had no shoulder like other studs I have installed. They have not loosed up after 6 months. Just to add a little information to help anyone replacing the original Triton exhaust studs on ford engines due to warping manifolds, double check the head threads are intact for every stud. If you have a badly leaking port and the exhaust manifold is badly warped and the old studs are not broken off there is a good chance the warping header pulled onthe studs hard enough to strip the threads in the head without snapping off the studs. when removed the stud may turn out clean and you might not even know the threads in the head have been compromised. A helcoil will be required. Why on earth this engine was designed with such undersized studs is beyond me.

Works great
Works great, used to fix a bad gasket on a 07 ford explprer v8.

Highly recommend these studs
Awesome Product I’ve used these before and they will outlast the manifold itself. And I need them again on another vehicle. Used the Ford studs and I was getting just about 3 years out of them. I’m at 3 years with the first studs a friend got me and no issues.

5.4L 3v manifold studs. Must have. Perfect.
2010 f150 5.4L 3v. These are a must when installing new headers or replacing a cracked manifold. Order two sets if doing both sides. Regardless of what exhaust header you choose you need these. My new headers came with all new stainless bolts. Studs are superior to bolts, don’t try to save a few bucks. This isn’t a job you’ll want to do twice. Nickel anti seize prevents galling when using ss hardware. Retorque after a heat cycle at least once.

Low priced top notch hardware.
These were installed on a 2003 f-150 5.4L to accompany some DNA motoring long tube headers. Although my original studs were fine it pays to be thorough when doing a manifold replacement. For the price you absolutely cannot by these for less, I tried McMaster Carr and locally. The quality is on par with what you expect from stainless hardware. They have held up well under very adverse conditions and have made the overall install of my headers more reliable. Buy them.

very nice product
These bolts were a little smaller in length than original so you will not have much threads sticking out of the manifold once bolt is seated in the head but they worked out great. Using an allen wrench for install was very convenient in tight spaces. I would recommend this kit when replacing exhaust manifolds as they wont rust. It was crazy removing the original bolts and nuts so this kit is worth every penny. PS use some high temp antisieze when threading them in to your head. Oh yeah they were half the price of a local retailer as well. Great value.
