The white is a true white. Perfect thickness - neither heavy nor thin. They came out of the package virtually wrinkle free. I hung them up straight away without ironing and the folds relaxed. They drape nicely and add a feminine vintage touch. The rod pocket was sewn neatly. Just be careful pushing the curtain rod through as it felt like it could snag easily....not the fault of the product, just the nature of lace. My only complaint was one panel's bottom hem was slightly uneven (angled), but since the bottom was blocked from view by the placement of the bed it wasn't an issue for me, otherwise I would have returned and reordered. I knocked off 1 star for this flaw.
