WORKS/FITS GOOD!👍😌B&D PARTS*
I inherited an old Black&Decker work bench #79-003 Type 1& It was very DIRTY/Rusty til I cleaned it up🤤😌It previously was my Uncle's bench,he passed away in 2008/And my aunt also so all the tools 🔧&other stuff was left to ME an my mother etc🙏😇😌I had to use the bench a yr or so ago&put it in my truck and it had slid around& one of the handles broke!😭That's what I get for NOT SECURING IT.😖So I decided to finally repair it as best as I could.Jumped on amazon& saw this bag of parts.I didn't really agree with the price point BUT,If you need parts then Hey you have to pay the"price"😑You have to cut off part of the old turn crank handle to re-use as kind of a"washer"for the new handle. You'll see in the pics👍Overall,it all works!Well designed parts& those dog holders come in handy!😌Thankful for amz....Ps:You can see how much you have to CUT on the knob handles,to serve as kind of a plastic"washer"to add to the stubby NEW replacement turn handles in my pics!Hope it helps YOU!👏👏👍Don't mind the crazy looking 🐱😂#Cat

Workmate spare parts
I knocked over my workmate and shattered one of the cranks to the winding handles this package contains not only 2 handles and cranks but additional useful items and is better value than buying them all separately the only parts I would have liked to have been included are the split expandable tubes that go through the cranks to retain them to fit them onto the rods as removing the old ones is difficult and they can easily become damaged in the process. To do it properly with minimum of damage you will need a metal item of the same outer diameter to drive out the shaft with equal pressure all round so that the ends do not become badly distorted I used a large center punch however, a nail of the same diameter at least a couple of inches long with the point cut off so that the tip is flat against the edges of the tube would probably work fine..I would advise against using pliers to assist in getting it out as they might crush or distort the tube. If you crush the tube it could become loose and consequently fall out during use.

Happy with the New Handles!
Perfect kit for my needs in replacing the broken handles from my Dad’s old B&D Workmate. Had been just dealing with the broken handles for years and saw this on amazon. Took some hammering to remove the pins off the old handles to remove, then had to cut off just enough of the broken handle to fill the gap as the new ones didn’t extend all the way down. Happy on how it turned out and will be much easier and quicker to use now! Thanks!

Workmate parts
I have two B&D Workmate work tables (one with fixed legs and one with collapsible legs) and both of them where broke/missing parts. The black and orange parts fit both of the tables but the white sleds didn't fit on the turn screws. So I used most of the pieces without a problem. I ended up having to glue my broken sled pieces together to fix the broken one. Also it did not come with the bolts that hold the wood to the the sleds. Seems like if you're going to replace the parts, you would need the bolts that hold the parts on.Overall I am very satisfied with the purchase. It was enough to get both of my workmate's back into working condition.

It did not fit my Workmate Black & Decker
The handles on the original has a recess in the inside that guides & keeps the it on the center while being cranked. I made them work by cutting the recess off the old handles & super gluing them on to the replacement crank handles. The assembly worked well after that just fine. The work surface dogs work well & the rectangle dogs were not of much use due to missing hardware. Overall it was worth the cost, even if it took some extra work on my part to make it work.Better than the price of buying a new workmate.

All the parts you need to refurbish your Workmate
Somehow, the crank on my trusty, Type 4 model 85 Workmate (comparable to a WM125) got broken and I have been living with it for some time when I got inspired to search for replacement parts. Since my model is so old, I took a chance on this kit and was pleasantly surprised to find that the crank and handle were fit compatible. Also, the swivel grip pegs, although not exactly like the OEM parts were very satisfactory. Now if you have gotten this far looking for parts to FIX your old Workmate instead of going out and buying a new one, you will want to keep this in mind: The crank body is just about 1/4" short on the shaft. I don't think this would bother most people but again, if you have gotten this far, YOU will be annoyed that the crank handle will be very close to the deck when you turn it. Other reviewers have noted this and have offered that a couple of washers will fill the gap nicely and maintain the proper offset for the crank.I found that I could re-use the old crank for this purpose by sawing off just enough of the crank body to fill the gap instead of using washers. This kit has everything you need to refurbish your Workmate down to the threaded ferrules that moves the deck along the track.

I was able to make this crank work on my old vintage Workmate
As others have written, the cranks in this kit do fit the older workmates but you need to cut off part of the old crank to use as a spacer. This parts assortment is a good value considering it includes 2 cranks, 2 knobs, and 4 bench dogs for around $16.

Good Kit
Used the parts to repair two old Workmates, a dual height 79-001 and a single height same vintage. The single height needed two new handles. The orange handles fit perfectly. The 79-001 needed a new crank. The old crank was broken and the end through the frame is shaped like a “step” washer to center the screw rod. Cut the old crank off just below the arm. Used the crank from the kit and the combination functioned like the original. This kit was the least expensive way to buy the components needed.
