EDC Pouch
I tried to find a thin belt with small pouches for EDC, but I came up short. I decided to go with a pouch and settled on this one. I like it, but here are a few considerations to note before you buy one.1. Decide what you want to do with it and how much you'll put in it. It is too small to fit a tourniquet; you MIGHT be able to fit a small snack bar in it, if you want one. I was able to fit a mini Bic lighter, Streamlight Protac penlight, Stanley 4-n-1 pocket screwdriver, a pen, a pencil, notepad, 2 tampons, a CRKT Eat-n-Tool, Kershaw Select Fire Multi-tool knife, and several band-aids/alcohol pads.2. To back up point 1, you can get bigger pouches or smaller ones. Just decide first what you want to put in it. I got the mini, because it forced me to make decisions on what I wanted to carry in my hand/on my person ALL THE TIME. Not too big; not too small. With the pouches and straps inside, it is very versatile and customizable, so you can make compromises on size for different items and vary the combination of said items you carry everyday.3. When packed full, the outside mesh pouch is basically useless because it is too tight and the velcro is REALLY sticky. I can't even wedge my iPhone in it.4. There's a lanyard strap on the inside with a clip, and I'm not even sure why it is there. It got in my way, so I cut it out within 30 seconds of unpacking it from the box. HahaOverall, this is a great EDC pouch. Like I said, it's just the right size for me. I have a small D-ring to hook it to a belt loop if I need my hands. It does have straps on the back for Molle type attachments. Very well constructed; very durable. The zippers feel very sturdy, like they will last a long time.

great little EDC bag
I bought this bag to mainly go with me in whatever vehicle I'm using. It's the perfect size for what I need. Quality zippers and materials. Plenty of pockets.

Still improving my EDC after 6 weeks
Quite versatile; you'll spend some time figuring out how you want to organize it.There are plenty of walkthrough videos out there, watch some of them for ideas.Very durable materials and zipper. High quality construction.Only drawback so far is the back row of loops are a bit large for the items I tend to use.I'd rather have more of the smaller loops, but this is a very minor complaint. The mini size fits into my front pants pocket, so long as I don't overstuff it.It's bit of a tight squeeze in some pants; but still far more convenient than juggling loose items.I can also throw it into my messenger bag, if that's with me.Saves time over finding every little item scattered around the larger bag.I might get a second one (larger size) to carry electronics stuff, that would stay in the shoulder bag.I wish I had found this years ago.

Great form factor, but usual maxpedition clunk
I got this for an EDC project. I already have a similar Spec Ops one, but needed more internal features. The elastics in the Spec Ops need a serious overhaul unless all you want to carry is a dozen pens. I actually cut some of the stitching between loops in the Spec Ops to triple its functionality.Thankfully the Maxpedition has a better system although not perfect. To be perfect, the elastic loops would need to be staggered (no shared stitching) in order to maximize the space. When the stitching is the same, then the nodes between the loops are shared and thus equally wasted. Imagine putting two circular objects next to each other. Rather than dropping a third object in between the two using the space the combine curved surfaces create, you can't. The shared stitching requires the third item to be directly on top of on of the others, not between the two.The zippers, while ykk, are still clunky compared to the spec ops ones. I wonder if there is a coating (silicon? Teflon?) difference that smooths the spec ops ones but makes the Maxpedition ones somewhat resistant to moving. However, the Maxpedition version has dual (two way) pulls while the spec ops only has one zipper pull. The more, the merrier in my book. The Maxpedition is made overseas (mine says taiwan), while spec ops us good ole' USA.The back attachments of the Max. is MOLLE-like (read vertical-only) while the spec ops is dual belt-loop compatible. The velcro closure on the Max. on the front is so strong it is hard to get stuff in and out. Lucky for me I keep a compass in it to read through the mesh and thus a strong closure is desired. The Max. is slightly smaller than the SO, but still large enough for most EDC things.Given the range of objects these pouches are used to house, some horizontal-holed elastic loops would be welcome. I carry a bic lighter horizontally across the top or bottom of the right side of this pouch. It stays fairly well just fitting between the heavier fabric edges, but an elastic loop would be great. Not everything used within the included elastic loops is 6" long so there is often plenty of room above and below for more stuff. The tether with clip is much shorter in the Max than the SO version, and some like this because the SO tether can get in the way. I haven't noticed a big deal with either, but think there is room for one more. The tethers make great key/light/knife attachment points so why only one. In fact, put clips on both ends of the tether and let the user decide. Maybe even include several different lengths. In fact, it would be nice to have a couple more small attachment points on both the inside and outside of the case. Max thoughtfully included one on the inside right top (none on the SO), but they can be oh-so handy when really needed. Finally, there is a perfect home in the center hinge fabric between the two pockets for a fisher bullet space pen. It would be nice if there was an elastic loop in their to utilize that space as well. I know Maxpedition is aware of these spaces since their pistol rugs have elastic loops within their hinge (Thanks for that Max. since I use it there for an extra long mag).In the end, while not USA made, it is a perfect size for something this size. Circular logic, I know, but if you need one of these, then you know exactly what I mean. Circular logic, I know, but....

This is my Urban EDC Kit pouch and its absolutely amazing in every way
Holds EVERYTHING that I use on the daily, and a few things that I keep just for emergencies. For as small as it is, it will hold a lot of gear and is very forgiving when it comes to larger items. If you ever needed an EDC, Travel, PFAK, or specialized tool pouch of any kind, I highly recommend this little bad boy. There is not a single bit of it that is not reinforced and tough as nails. I carry mine every day in the saddlebag of my Harley and clipped to by belt. It has shown ZERO signs of wear, fraying, or anything of that nature. You can beat it up and drop it and it will still work as good as the day it was made. I really could not be happier.
