Not bad at all!
The bike is adorable, and a Yamaha, not some off brand... My very tall just turned 3 year old, can definitely ride it but it looks so funny, like he's WAY too big, I am sure that 16" would have been too big, so we went with this 12". My only issue was that the pedal was extremely hard to pedal for my son, my five year old daughter tried it and said it was "a bit hard" compared to her bike, but for what I paid...$35 it was worth it even if he outgrows it. This will definitely resell at a great price once he can no longer ride it. I would not have kept it for the full price of $57 when I ordered it, and I think it's ridiculous that it is now in the $70 range!!!Update after five days usage, it is now in the $95 range, I got a heck of a deal then, and my son now rides it fairly easy, after my husband made adjustments. The seat does not adjust but the handle bars do. I bumped it up one star rating.Picture to compare the 12" Yamaha vs 16 " Shopkins.

The seat is not adjustable!!
This bike is super cute but IT IS NOT ADJUSTABLE. The seat doesn't adjust, so unless your child has the exact leg length to peddle this bike easily, and you only plan on them using it for a couple months, I would advise against purchasing it. It is sad though, because it is really cool looking. I bought it for my average sized 3 year old grandson's birthday and his legs were too long for it. I even used the little guide they provided for measuring if it was the right size. Bottom line, you really need an adjustable seat for a kids bike so that it can grow with them. Also, I didn't get my full refund when I returned it. It was over $20 less than I paid for it.

No cartoon theme with this bike!
Made no mistake, this is a wonderful first bike for any small child two to four years old! Extremely well made, safe, and a real head turner! Easy assembly, even though there were no instructions included. This bike is sure to please any child! It pedals and brakes like a big kid's bike!

Great bike
I purchase this bike for my 5 year old, it came in perfect time for Christmas 2018. It was an easy assembly but it did come with Missing parts like a reflector. My son loves the bike but it wasn't the correct size for him, this size was more meant for my 3 year old. I will next time get another bike with the appropriate size, maybe a 14" Bike. It came with training wheels so I guess the great part was for him to get him up and learning on how to ride a bike, he is like a pro now lol but maybe 14" Bike will be suitable, otherwise it's a great bike. Make sure to fill out the warranty paper and call if there is any missing parts.

No adjustable seat!
Nice bike but does not have an adjustable seat which unfortunately makes it an extremely poor choice for growing kids. Looks great, fine construction. Buyer beware of the nonadjustable seat.

Great product
Great product. Feels very solid & even the plastic pieces don't feel cheap. As others have mentioned, there are no reflectors included, which isn't that big of a deal to me considering my 2 year old isn't going to be riding at night. In the manual, at first, it mentions that all bikes, legally, must have reflectors installed. However, later in the book, it also states that, legally, 12" bikes don't require it, hence them not bothering to include it.

Do not buy
I'm so disappointed. I ordered this for my 3 yr old son for Christmas. The pedals come-up, maybe 5 inches from the top of the seat... unless your child has TINY legs and doesnt mind pedaling with his/her knees in their chest I would NOT recommend buying this...........
