So I make butter and other things at home, it's more of a release and let go hobby for me and not a "i wanna save money" thing.I got these because when I gift people butter or spreads I make, I needed something cute to put them in. These hold a decent amount and are perfect for that little something special to gift away. Whats even better is they come with little stickers to write on and add to the jar for labels, and the twine is a nice touch. I love them.

I used these jars to can some pepper jelly in a water bath and they worked well - all jars sealed and none broke

The jars are standard in heavy with well-fitting caps. I am not canning in them so I do not know how well the caps will stand up. However, they came very well packed and I have no complaints whatever. Recommended.

I'm an avid canner of jellies and jams. This was my first time purchasing this product and I was quite pleasantly surprised by the overall quality. I ordered these jars because they did not have the decorative etching, crystal, or quilted look. I wanted a less decorative jar so that I could place a nice label on the outside instead of on the top of the lid. I also enjoy making decorative jar toppers from fabric so I dressed these jars up nicely. The jars are very durable. I canned a Spice Christmas Jam last night and had the hot jam sealed in a jar when I had accidentally bumped one and knocked it over onto a tile cabinet. It did not break! It did not even dent the seal! I will continue to buy these jars over and over.

The lid is annoying since the top cover and and screw ring are two parts. The glass jar may not hold hot liquid. Otherwise they are good.

Alright, so I used to make Starbucks sous vide eggs via my oven but I recently got the sous vide machine but not the required bucket for the water bath so I read about how you can do it with an instapot lux mini still using the same Mason jars tactic. I got these jars specifically for this purpose, so for anyone wondering: you put 1.5 cups of cold water in the mini pot and pressure cook the eggs with the lids on for 9 minutes and let it pressure release for an additional 10. I did these with the jars about two times each and not one crack or issue other than sometimes the lids felt stuck from the air seal. I was worried at first after reading some reviews but they held up amazingly, so I imagine they could handle the dishwasher as well. I will say, hand washing them can be a pain in the ridged areas though.

I purchased the 16oz jars for baby shower prizes (pedicure in a jar.) They are the perfect size. I love the wide-mouth lid, making filling them so much easier. The price and quality are amazing! Thank you!
