The supplied winch hook is too small
I like this winch a lot. It seems very well made and is a great value for the price. I haven't installed it yet, because my Jeep JK is being delivered tomorrow. I think the installation will go easily. One thing I noticed is that its winch hook opening depth and width is too small. It won't accept the 3/4" pins on my bow shackles or my 3" wide recovery strap loop ends. Inserting either pushes the spring-loaded safety tab all the way back and does not allow the tab to return to its closed (safe) position. It looks like I'll have to purchase a bigger hook.

I put this on my 97 jeep cherokee, it was easy to install, and it works awesome! i love it!!!

Don't beleive the lies
Wire provided is NOT 100% pure copper as claimed. I had to relocate the control box and found out the wire supplied is CCA (Copper Clad Aluminum) Very cheap; and carries less current than copper. Once I found out I replaced ALL the power wires to ACTUAL copper wire.

Well built best bang for the buck
This was really an awesome winch. I don't really have much experience with winching vehicles but I was too afraid I would rip my bumper off so I returned it but not anything to do with the quality of the winch.

Great winch but they advertised 2 wireless remotes and only sent one
Got the winch, installed and it works great. Pretty impressed with quality of unit, packaging and instructions. The only problem is the description of the unit said it included two wireless remotes. Only one remote was in the box. When I reported the missing part on the orders missing part page, Amazons only solution was to "return for a full refund". I spent a day installing and it weighs 50 lbs so returning the whole unit for a missing 1/2 lb item doesn't make any sense. I'm just looking for a better solution for both of us
