Fashionopolis Paperback – 8 September 2020

I liked the way the author took us through the entire fashion industry evolution from pre-nafta, to offshoring to reshoring. It has detailed the various players in the fashion ecosystem from fast fashion to slow fashion to retailers to high end designers. It also describes the various technological advancement happening in the industry. Very informative and interesting.

The book opened my eyes and ears. It not only reveals the hidden dangers of buying clothes without thinking but provides alternatives to make better choices. The book is so well researched - I wish the author would also put together a tour of all the farms and stores, mentioned in the book that we can physically visit. Once I got started I had to read the book thru ..
