Back in my teens - which has been behind me for more years than I’ll admit to - this was a staple in my beauty routine. My teenage skin required regular exfoliation to keep my pores healthy and all the nasties that loved to clog them at bay. At some point around my 20s, it just disappeared from my beauty routine - but I suspect it was because I’d moved to a very rural area where soap or Noxema were pretty much the only choices for facial cleansers. I still live in the same rural area, but Amazon delivers here, so my options are once again limitless. Imagine my surprise when I was looking for a gentle exfoliator to replace my pricey discontinued Vitamin C + lactic acid exfoliator (for my now “mature” skin) and stumbled across this. The formulation appeared to be updated from the version I remember (which was literally coarse-ground apricot pits, no cleanser, just a heavy paste of ground pits that we’d use to torture our skin). I fully admit that my purchase was a knee-jerk buy based solely on nostalgia. Life is busy so I put it out of my mind, but it arrived a few days later and it sat on my vanity until yesterday. I reached for it because I was in a hurry and it was handy. WOW. This is far less abrasive and much more uniform of an exfoliant than its predecessor. It now contains a cleanser so you can exfoliate + cleanse in one step. Upon rinsing, my skin felt sooo soft and smooth - comparable to (and maybe even better than) that pricey $30 product I’d been using. I applied my usual Vitamin C + E serum right after, and it sank into my skin and absorbed beautifully. My moisturizer acted in kind, and my skin was glowing. My foundation applied so smoothly it looked *almost* air brushed. Today, my skin still feels fantastic. I’m so impressed that I had to come here and write a review. I’ve been a bit of a skin care snob in my older years, but if I’d been given a blind trial of this product alongside my previous one, I wouldn’t have guessed that this was an affordable drug store product instead of something from a boutique beauty brand. Talk about an unexpected glow up for a beauty product. I can’t see not having this always on-hand again - what an unexpected surprise!

The St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub is such a staple for me! The exfoliation is just the right balance—gentle but super effective. My skin always feels refreshed and incredibly smooth after using it. Plus, the fresh apricot scent is so uplifting. The fact that it comes in a two-pack is a bonus because I never have to worry about running out too soon. It’s a simple product that gets the job done and leaves my skin glowing.

I have purchased this exfoliating face scrub multiple times. It is the best scrub, it cleanses my pores and makes my face feel rejuvenated and smooth. Doesn't really have a scent which is OK. Lasts for a month and sometimes longer before I have to buy another I use it daily.

Cleans your skin well no irritation lots of scrubbing power so you need to only wash gently with your hands, but your skin does feel softer and cleaner with no irritation.

I have literally used this product for 3 decades or more. Once a week now that my hair is short I do my entire head. I have a long beard and find that if I use it to scrub the skin under it I pretty much avoid itching. I really do scrub my entire head with this aside from eyelids and inside the ears. It gives you a healthy glow and smooth skin. Also I am a man, I don't think a lot of men take very good care of their skin. You should start,it's worth the effort.

I have been a fan of st Ives for many years and I find myself coming back to this apricot scrub time and time again , I love how it exfoliates all the dead skin off leaving the skin feeling velvet to the touch , non abrasive and smells sooooo good ! Skin feels super clean . St ives will always be a staple in my household
