I do a lot of streaming, and often use my phone. I have a bunch of headsets, including some Logitech ones with the split 3.5mm headphone male jack and male microphone out that can be awkward at times. I got this to use with those split wires more simply with devices like my phone. And this did the trick! Unlike another review I read, both the headphones and the microphone portions worked great. I had no issues with audio levels or getting the microphone on any of my headsets to pick up my voice. I'm really happy with this - it's going to make my life a lot easier.

This adapter is a USB C male to dual 3.5mm female, one female port for mic, and one for audio. I use this for my laptop when gaming with friends. The materials feel excellent, all metal, and this will last for a long time. The audio transmission is very smooth and the response speed for picking up audio is very fast. The USB C plugs in the slot very tightly. Overall, I would order this again.

I purchased this splitter specifically for my laptop. I am a photographer/videographer and a lot of my gear includes dedicated microphones and headsets. The quality of these microphones/headsets is definitely professional level, so it makes sense to use it on my laptop for video calls.This splitter does the job perfectly. Keep in mind, it IS NOT a headphone splitter where you can plug in two headphones and listen to music together.Once plugged into my ACER laptop, it worked flawlessly. I tested it out on my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and it also worked perfectly.The biggest thing... audio quality. It was excellent without any abnormal noise/humming/static. Clear from what I experienced with both microphone and headphones.VERY IMPORTANT: microphone plug and headphone plug be TRS 3.5mm standardThe durability is also outstanding. I love the braided feel. It has the perfect balance of durability/stiffness vs flexibility. I can tell this will holdup to a ton of use.Highly recommend!

Didn't work for me!

When you need a microphone and headphone jack out from your iPad - this adapter is just what you need. The type C plugs into your iPad and the two cables are clearly marked for the mic and headphone jacks. I noticed no db loss through the connection and no introduced noise. Like I said - it just works. And for a sound man - that's just exactly what you want - something that just works. No need or filters for noise, no need for amplifiers to make up for gain loss. Just plug it in and it works. Job done.I recommend this product.
