I usually buy Horror movies like Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Nightmare on Elm Street , I do like too have quiet a lot of DVDs I have Jennifer Lopez Movie The Back Up Plan Maid in Manhattan this movie The Wedding Planner, is about a women called Mary played by Jennifer Lopez who is a ambitious wedding planner she meets through her father a old high school enemy called Massimo who her father says they should marry but as they hardly got along she reasonably declines as she wants too persuade her boss too make her partner of the company she then has the big task too plan the catering of the wedding too Heiress Fran Donolly’s wedding too her boyfriend Eddie played by a good well known actor in the name of Matthew McConaughey, though this proves tricky as Mary manages too get her high heel pulled in a manhole a man manages too pull her too safety out of a speeding Dumpster and she manages too thank him before fainting she walks up in hospital Mary meets him it is no other than a paediatrician Eddie who as time goes on she develops feelings for him, Her then colleague tries too persuade him too go too a outdoor cinema , they dance together but then it rains heavily before they can kiss they unexpectedly at a dance lesson with a client Mary meets Socialite Fran who then introduces her too her Fiancé Eddie who then and they dance together Mary then tells Steve off for not telling her he was getting married, Penny then tries too persuade Mary that career is more important than her feelings and as time goes Eddie’s Colleague tries too persuade him that his connection with Mary is only through pre wedding nerves , Mary then visits a potential wedding venue in Napa Valley Then her old Enemy from High School called Massimo appears and then says he is her finance while riding through the estate with Fran’s parents the Mr’s Donnolly’s singing frightens Mary’s Horse, Steve then rescues Mary again and admonishes her for condemning his actions when he was also engaged as times goes by Mary calls off her engagement too Massimo, it is not the best acting and would not have won any Academy awards no Spoilers here, I won’t tell the ending I went in too depth with the story but on a rain afternoon in January it with some friends over this is a ideal movie .

If you have to watch this (and by that I mean you were unsuccessful in getting yourself run over on the way home) then buy a few litres of vodka or whisky (not beer) before you do so. Also make sure your phone battery is fully charged so that you can do something to keep your brain ticking over as your will to live slowly and inexorably departs your body. In case you haven't realised, I did not dislike this film; I found it loathsome. Contemptible. Ghastly. Yuck.

I actually opened this by mistake, I was aiming for Ramen Girl, but probably clicked on this. Then I said, let's watch, what am I gonna lose. I watched till the end but the Male Lead's tone of voice, his speaking, killed me. I'm sure it would feel attracgive to some people, but not me, I really really hated it and if I everr see his name in a movie, I'll stay away.

In The Wedding Planner Jennifer Lopez acts as a woman who sets up weddings for other people but who is very cynical about theceremony herself (we find out why during the course of the film).She falls in love with Matthew Mcconaughey who is engaged to one of her friends and tries to do the right thing by helping them to get married.The Wedding Planner,itself,tries to be an old-fashioned movie from fifty or so years ago set in modern times.It succeeds in doing this but there are big errors in the script (in one instance the characters are delivered some news that in real life I'm sure would have left people speechless but in the storyline they accept with nonchalance).Nevertheless,Mcconaughey and Lopez are engaging enough to make this a film worth seeing.And with all the sets for weddings it is visually striking.

Great film! If you’re looking for a good rom-com I highly suggest it. There was a couple of times when watching the film the screen went fuzzy and black. The condition wasn’t as good as suggested in the description but I’m still happy with my purchase.

very slow and dull. script and characters poor. actors deserve better everything. lifeless.
