Kit works fabulous! Held up super well
I am really happy with my purchase. The sheets are folded perfectly for easy instillation and covers a lot of my windows. I waited through the winter so I can tell you how they held up.They held back A lot of the cold air through our drafty windows and the thickness of the plastic and quality of the tape held up to two dogs and a toddler constantly pawing at them.

Heavy-Duty Protection Against Winter Drafts
The thicker film provides added durability, making it suitable for high-traffic areas or homes with pets. The roll format allows for easy customization to fit various window sizes.Installation is straightforward, though some users mention a learning curve for first-time users. The included tape adheres well to most surfaces, creating a tight seal. Many find that using a hair dryer to shrink the film results in a nearly invisible barrier. The kit is designed for single-season use and is not reusable. Additionally, while the film is clear, it may have a slight haze compared to bare windows. The Duck MAX Strength Window Insulation Kit offers a cost-effective way to improve home insulation and reduce heating costs. Its heavy-duty construction and ease of use make it a solid choice for homeowners looking to winterize their windows.

This product has been a life saver last winter! It was easy to put it up to cover the windows and helped keeping my rooms warm in the cold winter in New England. My heating bill decreased by 30% because usage went down!

Worth the price!
I recently moved to a new apartment, 2nd floor of a 2 family house. There are several crawl spaces that have little to no insulation due to it being an older house. The owner had them lined with insulation but during those extremely cold days, you can feel a draft coming in.I tried a few different options, including weatherproof insulation tape before coming across this. I was a little skeptical seeing how I was planning on using it for more than my windows but once I followed the quick video and got an idea how it works I was confident about the product and the quality of the materials you get. After seeing how the product worked, simply measure and give yourself some room to work as well. The height on the door was my concern but I can easily seeing this cover a window size of 5 feet. After trimming off the excess, run a hairdryer on high around the edges where the tape and plastic meet being careful as you go. The size and look aren't a bother. The tape sticks very well and after 24 hours I can say this product works great.

7° warmer after putting up insulation
I have multiple rooms with window AC units. Very hard to find covers to fit some of them. I tried ordering two different sets and was only able to find a cover that fit one. I noticed that that really helped keep the heat in the room. We do have central heat and air. One of the rooms, where I couldn't find a cover for the AC unit, was a lot colder than the main part of the house. After I put the insulation on both windows in the room an hour later I checked the temperature at the window AC unit I had a thermometer and I had another thermometer inside the room. There was a 7° difference. I checked and the temperature in that room was around the same as the main part of the house. I highly recommend as a alternative to removing your window AC unit or finding a cover for it. Not too difficult to install. I did a little different than the directions. I put all the tape up first and cut the plastic before attaching it at the top and then I just pulled it out and slowly moved it down to the bottom of the window. Even if it's not exactly even as long as it's sealed on all sides once you use the blow dryer it should snug up a bit and be fine. I'm sure it's going to help the electric bill and it will be keeping the room warmer, which is great! Please excuse the dirty blinds and window area in general. We are a dog rescue and have 21 dogs in house. I get a little bit behind and cleaning and just wanted to hurry up and put the insulation up to keep them warm as it's going to be getting really cold over the next few days.

It's decent
I purchased this window film and was also gifted a box of film of another (major) brand. We have 9 windows in our family room, each window is 26x64. Where the windows are next to each other, with a 5" trim in between, we were able to use the entire 62" width and just unroll the height of the window, only having to cut at the bottom. Couple tips: make sure the tape is at least an inch, on the trim, from the window itself. If there isn't that inch leeway, as it shrinks it will pull the tape off. We had to use duct tape on the first window because it was pulling in. On that same note, make sure you press the tape FIRMLY onto the frame/trim BEFORE peeling the liner off of it. Once that liner is removed you can't adjust the tape. Use a high power blow dryer, 1800+ watts, to get the wrinkles out. I worked in sections: I started at the top left corner, blowdried at a downward angle for roughly 15" or so, went back to the top, moved to the right a couple inches, blowdried down 15" or so, and repeated across the window, then moved down and did the same thing in the next section until I worked my way to the bottom. When you get to the bottom, just check the window for any wrinkles and go over them again. You definitely need 2 people to do this, and make sure you don't get the film anywhere near the exposed tape until you know it's somewhat even on all sides. After wasting a little bit of film due to user error, we used this entire box for 6 windows, and used the other brand for the remaining three windows. The other brand that I was given came folded (as opposed to on a roll) and it was considerably easier to deal with. It also de-wrinkled faster and smoother.ALSO: we did one window then waited a couple weeks before continuing the project.in the meantime our cat loves the sound the film makes when you tape on it lol, and he put a couple holes in it with his claws. We just put duct tape over the holes, blowdried it again, and it's still smooth.
