Many people buying this lipsalve on Amazon may not realise that Rose & Co is a brand developed and sold by the famous apothecary in Haworth, West Yorkshire, from whence Branwell Brontë purchased his Opium. All their products are delightful - imaginative and delicious to use. This stuff far out-performs Vaseline or other more expensive salves on the market. It is not all natural but does contain a good deal of integrity ingredients. It tastes just like Turkish Delight in a tin - and WHAT a stylish, retro tin? I have frequently given this as a gift or part of a gift. It never fails to charm. It works well at all times of year - as an uplifting slick before bed (or is that puckering up time?!) or on a wild, wuthering (that’s a Yorkshire verb, btw ;-)), sleeting, hailing, skin-chapping sort of day. Indeed it will sort you out after most lip-affecting weather blips. Can’t go wrong!

What's not to love about this product. Beautiful packaging, smells divine and makes my lips soft and shiny without feeling gloopy and weighed down. Highly recommend.

Beautifully scented, and very soothing for dry, flaky fingers and lips.

This is beautiful. I've used it every night for 5 years and my lips have never been more healthy. No flaking or splitting, even if I have a cold, it's incredible. One tin lasts me approximately 2 years but, it smells so lovely and does such a great job, I haven't got tired of it. Buy it, it's the best.

I love this salve it tastes and smells nice & lasts quite well, the tin is attractive too but compared to rose Vaseline (a similar product) it is a quite expensive

Very good - beautiful tin. Bought 3 for friends. A good find, smoother than vaseline, penetrates well and the rose is mild-natural and fine for lips.

This is by far the best lip balm ever, it stays on the lips for ages, sometimes when I wake up I still have a tiny bit left if I put a big amount.It doesn't feel greasy or smears around.I tried it on the skin on the face just to try, I didn't like it, when I woke up it hadn't absorbed and it felt like it was clogging my pores, I washed my face and it was just normal. But great for the lips.The smell is not overpowering and it doesn't have a big taste either, it smells like roses.

Unfortunately does nothing to hydrate dry lips. Doesn't last very long and needs frequent repeat application. Doesn't have a tint either, which was disappointing. The silver lining is the lovely tin it comes in, and the mild rose scent which is not overpowering. Wouldn't be buying again - not great value for money.
