Buyer beware
I have written many reviews on Amazon for products. Most of them have been good and a few not so good but this is the first time I have left feedback because I feel that I have been deceived by a seller. If you read the listing you will see a listing that is actually written by Komal's Passion Leather. This company is not Komal's Passion Leather. The description can be found on Komals Passion Leathers own listing for the genuine product. The description warns buyers that if the bag you receive does not contain the Komals Passion Leather logo inside it is not genuine. Guess what? No label. They said it would have a shoulder pad on the shoulder strap. Guess what? No shoulder pad. They also said it would arrive wrapped in a cloth bag. Mine arrived in a polythene bag. One of the leather fastening straps was too wide for the buckle causing the material to ruck. The overall feel of the product was shabby. I contacted Komal's Passion Leather who told me that this company do not resell their product and that I would have received a copy of the genuine article. I have also reported this to Amazon.I was absolutely gutted when the bag arrived. I had been really looking forward to receiving it. I had read the positive reviews but missed the one which gave it one star. Guess what? That one star feedback reflected everything that I have just told you. Perhaps some of you received a better made product and maybe it had the right label on it and the strap and came in a cloth bag and therefore your good ratings were justified. Make your own mind up!

A very nice bag
Received next-day as promised. A very nice bag, 100% consistent with the photos and description. Slightly lighter shade, but an enclosed letter from the vendor explains that it will darken over a few weeks (not important to me). Very nicely packed in a fabric dust cover, buckles wrapped in foam etc. The leather is unmarred with a pleasant finish, the stitching & construction is solid. It's a simple large briefcase - practical and sturdy.There are so many unhappy reviews of imported leather briefcases on Amazon UK - customers complain of poor manufacture, low quality leather, unpleasant odour and false descriptions. I researched very carefully and relied on Passion Leather's good US feedback. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Strange colour!
Firstly you need to be aware of the colour difference from the pictures, it's not the typical tan leather you find on antique items, it has a pinkish maybe even orange ish tint to it. It is sturdyand well made (double stitched but given the price you can see that the detailing is a collection of offcuts/leftovers. This didn't bother me but it depends how detail orientated you are. Finally the strap is like a belt so limited with length and at over 6 foot it unfortunately meant I could only get he bag to sit on my hip at the longest point.Overall it is reasonably well made and certainly a great size for all you need but a few quality points knock the score down

Fab man bag
I decided that hubby need something a little smarter than his tired old rucksack for this laptop and papers when attending meetings, so got this as a birthday pressie for him.It did arrive in a very girly pink satin dust bag which was a surprise, but the bag itself is beautiful. You can feel and smell the quality of the leather.Hubby was overjoyed so brownie points for me :)

This is a gorgeous product. Immaculately finished and packaged. The interior is lined and sub-divided and the whole thing screams quality. Every time I use it, it gives pleasure - it even smells great!. I bet it will last 100 years.

Not all that great...
It looks nice.The straps on the bag feel quite weak and appear to be stretching. Secondly one of the metal clasps has bent and now the shoulder slap slips out of place causing the bag to fall... Not very structurally sound. I don't carry anything heavy either. Just my laptop, a small notebook and pens. Lastly... there is a strange smell over time. It got slightly wet in the rain once and just has not smelt so great ever since...It looks nice. But the quality just isn't there for me to give it a great review.
