Great presence switch
Discrete and functional. The only downside is that it doesn't come with a sign to say that it's an automatic switch, everyone will ask how to turn the light off! It also needs a neutral line to the unit so won't replace a standard switch.I'd also prefer a shorter off time, the shortest period on mine is 57 seconds, which is why people peer into a crack in the bathroom door saying it doesn't go off on its own.UPDATE - Six months in and it has been rock solid reliable. At last, I have foiled neices and nephews who don't seem to know how to turn lights off! I have also confused others as they couldn't work out how to turn it off...

A good quality product
I bought this switch primarily to stop the kids leaving the lights on in the living room where I have multibulb chandaliers. This is actually the 3rd PIR detector switch I have bought -- the first two were two-wire switches of chinese origin, and both were totally hopeless. Two wire switches do not provide permanent power to the sensor and (by design) will be less reliable; but I was not expecting them to be completely unsuitable for a domestic room. They may possibly work in a garage or shed, where there are no radiators and only occasional motion, but they did not work in any of the domestic areas I tried them. This unit, however, is excellent. It is a quality product, it switches reliably and has timer and lux adjustments. I have actually wired this unit in tandem with a dual gang switch so I have the option of keeping the lights permanently on, or permanently off. I can also disable the switches if needed (e.g. if we have another small child who repeatedly toggles the switch!) and just have it operate in sensor mode. The only small criticism is that the cone sensing angle will not cover the whole room (it's 120 deg) so if you are sitting in one corner, you may get plunged into darkness depending on where the sensor is.In every other respect, this sensor is ideal and well worth the extra few £. My advice to anyone looking to install a domestic sensor switch to stop lights being left on, is to buy a 3-wire unit, and spend the extra few £ to get a quality product.I'm looking forward to a lower electricity bill next quarter already!

One Star
Bought 2. Wired them up. All they did was flash/ strobe. Took them out.

Bought for bathroom
Unit is compact and works fine, I would opt for the non switched one if using in a bathroom or wet room

as described - good quality and working fine so far
as described - good quality and working fine so far. Only niggle is that it's not sitting flush in the wall.

Perfect
This is exactly what I needed for a circuit to control an automatic air freshener dispenser in the bathroom. I have rigged it up so it switches on an asymmetric timer relay which in turns, controls the low-voltage air freshener dispenser so that it only operates when someone is actually in the room (and at a frequency that I want, not just as available by the control on the dispenser itself).
