This is a gorgeous book with a lot (and I do mean a lot) of amazing pictures/photos.It’s very informative and full of interesting things about the Art Deco period - the pictures are all relevant and often very thought provoking (remember it was the 30s).This is a pretty big book too with a lovely embossed cover. The beautiful picture on the front of the dust cover is also (to my delight) on the actual book itself - sometimes the book is plain and the dust cover colourful but not in this case.The only negative is that some of the pictures show half naked ladies (doesn’t bother me in the slightest) but if you have children of a certain age I’d imagine it would make for interesting discussions!A fantastic book

I am a art student so I bought this because I a interested in art deco period. It is a large coffee table book. Good value for money.

Amazing book! Bought it as a present and it was very happily received by a friend with a lot of knowledge of this art period - so I guess that means the book is decent. The photos and illustrations are wonderful and it's a big hefty book, full of information. Arrived very quickly and in perfect condition. Beautiful cover!

This is a quality book - ideal coffee table item - good illustrations and write up on good quality paper.Not much else to say but for those that like Art Deco definitely add this to your collection or have confidence in it as a present for someone.

I bought this book for my grand daughter who is taking A level Art & Design.The photographs are absolutely beautiful. and as she was looking for images of advertising in the Art Deco period this was really helpful. Her art master seemed very impressed, I understand, when she took it into school!!.

The book was as described, used, so I wasn't surprised when it arrived and I found it to have been covered with a transparent film...although badly. However, it does not detract from the pages within the book. So, I am delighted with the purchase. As an art student from many years ago I find this book a great source of information and lovely time spent flicking through a period of art history which had been a great inspiration to me.

A simply gorgeous book about the Art Deco period in terms of art, fashion and advertising. Stylish and inspiring, great coffee table book.
