L'Oréal Colorista Washout Red Semi-Permanent Hair Dye, 80ml

I purchased this dye to brighten my red hair that had dulled a lot. I was really surprised at the colour pay off. Its a nice deep magenta red the exact shade i was looking for. Please note that my hair had been pre lightened.The only thing i have to warn anyone thinking of using this shade is that it stains like a MF. It even stained my bathroom sink (and my hands and clothes). So take precautions when using.

I brought this product as i am a brunette. The packet shows “Visible on all shades” as well as lasting up to 15 washes. However, i received the product today and it is NOT visible on dark hair shades and is only a Medium wear which did not show on the packet advertised. The packet advertised showed “visible on all hair types”, clearly not all. However, the product is really reliable, doesn’t ruin your hair and is probably the best semi permanent hair dye I’ve purchased. I recommend that if your willing to go for this shade, you have Light Brown/Medium Brown. If you have dark hair, the colour will not show up and this is NOT advertised so it’s a good job i have Medium brown hair. If you have blonde hair, this dye will show a more intense colour and will last longer.

This colour is amazing, it was very easy to use and although my hair was short it's very thick and I still had some left over, such a beautiful colour, can't comment on how.long it lasts as I change my hair very frequently

Great amount of product. i did use two bottles for my extremely thick hair. it applies nicely but definitely stays in for more than 10-15 washes. i’m going to say about a year mine lasted!

Item looks great, easy to put in hair yourself however it is taking a very long time to completely wash out! More washes than it says on the box - I've washed my hair at least double the amount it says and parts are still red.

I wouldn’t give any stars if I could; I’m so disappointed in the product, if I could get a refund I would 100% take it and send the product left back as well, my hair has come back the exact same colour, I’m so disappointed I expected a lot better

Wanted a temp colour but always struggled to find anything to take to brown hair - this was easy to apply and left a really lovely colour

Prefect if you are colouring virgin hair. It will wash in and out as described. If however you have previously dyed hair, you will find it sticks to the dyed hair well. I’m 1 month on and still bright red on 1/2 my hair. The roots have gone completely back to normal.
