The drills are well made and to size. For the money, this is a good value. The index case has some flaws, but I bought this set for the drills. The letter and fractional triple indexes don't fold out. I'll have to work on that. Like I said, I bought this for the drills. The latch is kind of wonky. The drills all fit just fine in their cleared labeled holes. The drills are clearly stamped for size. Would I buy this again? Yes, and I use my drill press almost daily.

These hold up very well compared to most drill bits I have owned in the past.

I broke off grade 8 bolts in the frame of my Jeep, I originally bought a milwaukee bit and it was able to 1 1/4 holes and pretty much was useless after that. I bought this 5 pack for less cost expecting to need several to complete the job. I was able to drill out the rest of the bolts with only one bit, I did overheat it as you can see in the picture but it kept on going. These sre 6 stars in my opinion regardless of cost!

These were very sharp and cut through mild 5/16 steel with ease. The downside is they are very Brittle. They work perfectly in my drill press for normal drilling. I use these for horseshoes that sometimes need to have a rectangular hole enlarged. While drilling round holes in a rectangular opening is not ideal, nor their intended purpose, its often what I need them for. Other brands took my abuse with less breakage. Even with a good lubricant i snapped bits. Needs a light touch but ok for the money.

Needed these for a repair on our wood stove. Cast iron is very hard to drill. The bits for cast iron should make it easier to get the holes drilled.

I purchased these bits to drill in sch 40 pipe /fence post. I usually use one bit of another brand that last about 8 or 10 pipes. I used all 5 of these bits on 4 pipes and still had to get another brand to finish the project. Very disappointed in this product.
