I bought on Amazon which had the purchase info - link listed on site.

Q: How close to the tub floor does the seat get? Do the wings fold or can they be removed?

It gets 2-3 inches from the floor of the tub. The wings fold--I guess you could take them off permanently.

Q: what is the width measurement of the tub needed for the flaps tobe secure?

I sent mine back so I don't have it to measure.. But my tub was a standard size width and it did work
