Scho-ka-kola!
Great product! My boy is obsessed with anything WW2. He’ll get such a kick out of eating a wartime chocolate brand. This is an ideal stocking filler. It’s a decent size and there’s a feel of quality to the tin. Arrived quickly. Would highly recommend.

Makes a good mocha
When I had the first bite of this I could tell the chocolate was very German, but immediantly after that it was a like having a pleasent coffee. Makes for an great mocha when added to hot milk. The caffeine content per piece is low enough that if you wanted/needed to come off a caffeine addiction then you could very much do so by easily controling the amount you have.

A novelty item
I bought this to see what it'd be like eating like a German soldier for a moment, though they only had the dark chocolate variety I've been watching a lot of MRE videos on YouTube and this appealed to me. Never tried Kola bean before so it was worth a try just for that, it literally tastes like coffee flavoured chocolate. Didn't give me a buzz but then I drink a can of Monster a day so caffiene does nothing to my tough interior these days.

Nice
It was good if a little pricey but good for hiking.

Delicious.
Excellent chocolate. I've bought the original dark version many times over the years. I'd first read about the mysterious chocolate in books about the German forces in WW2 and was dying to try it. I loved it from my first taste. This is the first time I've tried the milk chocolate variation. I must say it's delicious too. Obviously, not as bitter as the dark chocolate type, but very similar in taste. I love the original dark and this is nice as a change. I am a chocaholic and Scho-Ka Kola is a real favourite of mine. I can really recommend it.

This stuff is brilliant. I actually have a bit of this before I do stand up. It gives you a brilliant buzz and wakes you up. Great for long drives and I'm sure it's better for you than energy drinks. It tastes really nice, so you have to remember not to just eat it for pleasure, and to have it when you need it.

If history had a taste...
If you are ordering Scho-ka-kola it is unlikely that you do it for culinary purposes only. This chocolate in round shoepolish tins have historical connotations to WW2 German army and it was what their soldiers were savoring in Poland, France, Balkans, Africa or Stalingrad. Their relationship with it also displayed in 1992 Stalingrad movie as encircled German troops were getting an airdrop of Scho-Ka-Kolas after weeks of hunger. As a chocolate, it is weird to start with. It has a prominent coffee aftertaste. Kola-nut taste is difficult to describe, bit like brazilian nuts. Oily and bland. Still it is sweeter than what you expect and very different from your daily Cadbury's or Milka's.Overall 4/5 for a confectionary item, 5/5 for history repackaged as original.
