Decent pad, but not much thicker than a quilt.
Good quality, rolls up nicely, but the advertised "thickness" of 2 inches is a stretch. This thing is basically a quilt. I need something thicker for my back while camping so, unfortunately, I'll be returning this. Depending on your need, you might like this, but don't count on 2 inches of thickness.

The hospital "cot" is a chair that opens out into a single sleeper. First night, the hardest sleeper I've ever been on, with what felt like rods across the cushions. I may have slept 2-3 hours. After unrolling this cot pad on the piece of furniture I finally found I was able to sleep with MUCH less discomfort. The length and width were perfect. The elastic stays didn't work on the piece of furniture, but it was still so much better, warmer, and even looked more inviting.

Unless you like sleeping on the ground, this isn't going to work by itself
I should have thought of it before I bought it but unfortunitly like every other pillow, blanket or other item like that they get vaccume sealed before shipment. I know this is done to cut down on packing size but it KILLS ANY fluff or cousion that the product was meant to have. This is NOT the moderately supportive pad in the pic, it arrives looking half the thickness. When I tried it on my cot it was as if there wasn't anything between me and the plywood underneath! It's as if you're buying this item having already been worn down and flattened!
