Decent quality product, does what says on the tin…
Bought this to convert a straight laptop docking cable to L shape. Done the job properly. I used some black electrical tape to hold the USB cable to it as it wasn’t a solid connection, and I don’t need to open it again as is permanently connected to the laptop which is on a vertical stand.So far it works for charging and transferring data for the display, the claim of 40Gbps I’m not sure of, have not had a chance to test it.

Not much to say about these. They do the job perfectly.

Unstable with 4K 60Hz video
They feel solidly made and attach firmly. Charging and data seem OK but my monitor needs to resync the signal a few times per minute, giving several seconds of black screen. This does not happen without this adapter connected, and the same happens with two MacBooks.

Great product fair price
HAve bought a few of these now to use in TB ports to help cable direction and they work perfectly and seem sturdy enough. Just what I wanted and at a reasonable price, given I have bought four lots I clearly think they do what I need.

This one works! No it doesn't.
I have been looking for a right-angle connector for my DELL XPS13 9340 to enable connection to a dock providing power, USB data and LAN connectivity. Previous connectors did not enable LAN connectivity as well as power and data. This one does - so was well pleased! BUT now discovered that it interferes with the on-board wireless on Dell machine and stops other network devices from being seen. So, it is useless for my purpose. Not worth returning but disappointed.

Does not work with cases installed
Updated the review & dropped from 5 to 3 stars. Whilst this works flawlessly without a case fitted, once the case is fitted the connector will not engage. I should have thought this through before purchasing.On the plus side for a non cased tablet, it keep the cables tidy, & works flawlessly.
